RULES AND REGULATIONS OPEN FROM DAWN TO DUSK DOGS: • Must be licensed and vaccinated against rabies, and wear tags at all times • Must wear a collar • Must be spayed or neutered • Must be at least four months of age • Must NOT be sick or suffering with parasites • Must be leashed when outside the gated enclosure OWNERS/HANDLERS: • Must keep park gates closed at all times • Must remain inside of the park with dog(s) at all times • Must maintain visual contact and voice control with dog(s) • May not bring more than 3 dogs into the park at one time • May not bring animals other than dogs into the park • Must clean up after dog(s) immediately and appropriately dispose of any and all feces (TOY Bylaw Chapter 79 sec 79-24.1) • Must immediately remove a problem dog(s) (displaying aggressive behavior, mounting, excessive barking) from park without debate • May not bring food, alcoholic beverages or glass containers into park • Must refrain from giving dog(s) training treats that cannot be consumed quickly • May not smoke • Must immediately stop dog(s) from digging and fill in any holes • May not groom dogs at the park • Must provide supervision to children under age 16 • May not bring strollers. bicycles or any children's toys into park • ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES AND DAMAGE CAUSED BY THEIR DOG(S) ALL DOGS AND OWNERS/KEEPERS USING THIS AREA AT THEIR OWN RISK Owners are expected to know the temperament of their dog and are ultimately responsible for actions of their dog(s) at all times. Owners must adhere to all Town of Yarmouth Animal Control bylaws. At no time dogs deemed to be dangerous under MGL Chapter 140 sections 157 may enter upon the property. FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN FINES OR LOSS OF PRIVILEGES The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to deny access to the park for any dog and their owner/keeper for failure to comply with park rules. The yard is fully fenced with a majority being a 6ft tall newly installed fence. The shed side of the yard is close to a neighbors house and in the summertime you can expect to hear them but privacy trees behind the shed block the view so you won’t see them. The rest of the neighbors houses are much farther away as the house is conveniently located on a double lot. Enjoy the hammocks and couches as you wish!
