55Really love the big open field and my boys loved the canal. Lots of room to run on different terrain throughout! Appreciated the garbage bin for waste and chairs so we could also relax a few minutes. Also great community on with Shelby! Thank you, we will absolutely be back!
45I would give five stars if there were a bathroom available. For my reactive, 65 pound dogs, this was a perfect getaway where they ran and explored off lead for an hour. Plenty of discovery available for sniffing and problem solving. We brought our own camp chairs for relaxation while, being securely fenced, dogs explored. The environment is exactly as described with an irrigation canal. Do watch for the gopher holes but I did not find it off putting. We will visit again!
45Very large space to run around in. My dogs loved jumping in the water. The opening gate may be an issue for pups that are motivated to crawl under to escape.
45Our dogs absolutely love this Sniffspot! The gated area gives them plenty of space to run around and play safely, and they especially had a blast exploring and playing in the creek. They always have such a great time here, and we come back often. The only things I’d change are having more comfortable chairs and keeping the weeds a little shorter. Other than that, it’s a great spot for the dogs, and they always leave happy and tired!
45Nice large pasture (5 acres) for dogs to run, train, and play. Good fencing. Entry gate has a gap to-ground large-enough for a small dog to escape, but was no problem with our small rescue dog who has escaped from home 3x! Easily controlled, and you would be right there going in and out. Not an issue for such a large venue IMO. Grass and weeds are a little high around the perimeter, but no problem except for finding any poop that happens! Close in to Bend. We will go back again.

45Not a great fit for my needs but likely great for others. I brought my 80 year old mother hoping to walk through field but lots of overgrowth covering the gopher holes made it unsafe. Also had to dodge irrigation sprinklers to get in and out. Not obviously marked so wasnt sure I was in the right place until after I was on the driveway and inside the gate. Maybe a sign near road would help? I think I expected too much based on the cost which is on me, not the host! This place would be great for most other dogs as it does have water to wade in and room to play fetch! Beware of gopher holes but once you're past the high weeds they are fairly easy to spot. If you have more than one dog this is wide open for chase play and I've no doubt they will be thrilled with the space.
55Shelbys place is an absolute life saver for me. I live in condos and to be able to take my 2 dogs to run free in a great spot is priceless. There is also a canal or creek that runs through her place and my dogs now love to get in the water.
55My pup loves this place and gets so excited every time we pull in, lots of shade as well and a stream that runs through the property 10/10 Sniffspot!

Great open field. Canal runs May to October so pups might get wet. If main gate is closed upon arrival, please feel free to let yourself in. If you have an appointment, we are expecting you! Usually gate is open but if you book very early in the morning sometimes it’s closed. And sometimes life just gets in the way and I forget. 🙃

Located about ten minutes from downtown Bend, we are in the country - you’ll see cows, sheep and horses, as well as deer, bald eagles, red tailed hawks and other wildlife, on your way to us! Once you arrive you’ll have full use of our fully fenced, mainly flat grassy dog area bordered by trees and landscaping. We have lawn seating for guests and lots of toys for the pups, as well as fresh water which you are always welcome to refill using the hose. Please let me know what questions you have!
