We’re excited to have you and your pup(s) visit our space! Not only will your dog(s) get to enjoy some sniffing and zoomies, but your visit also helps support our animal shelter and the animals we care for.. Thank you so much for booking with us!

HOST NOTE

This is an outdoor, natural play space that includes wood chips, natural landscaping, and plants. This play yard is private, and no other dogs will be inside the fenced area during your visit. Shelter dogs are housed well away from this space. However, as we are an active animal care facility, you may see or hear other dogs at a distance: - Dog walkers may occasionally pass by outside the play area - This space is located near our animal receiving area, where members of the public may arrive with pets - All outside dogs are required to be leashed or remain in vehicles at all times, and direct interactions are not permitted. While the yard itself is separate and secure, dogs visiting should be comfortable with occasional sights and sounds of other dogs and people nearby. It's also important to always have your dog(s) leashed when entering and exiting the area, and to and from your vehicle.

Located about ten minutes from downtown Bend, we are in the country - you’ll see cows, sheep and horses, as well as deer, bald eagles, red tailed hawks and other wildlife, on your way to us! Once you arrive you’ll have full use of our fully fenced, mainly flat grassy dog area bordered by trees and landscaping. We have lawn seating for guests and lots of toys for the pups, as well as fresh water which you are always welcome to refill using the hose. Please let me know what questions you have!
