55Best Sniffspot in the area
55Our favorite spot! Exactly as described
55Vicky is a great host! Very responsive would recommend!
55This was our first sniff spot and my Sylvie had a blast. Totally worth the 50 minute drive!
55Wonderful place!! We keep on coming back!!!
55Annie had a blast! I arrived a bit late but thought that Annie would not want to stay the whole time since she dislikes dog parks or gets bored easily but this had rocks and trees and lots of good places to sniff!
55You’re the best!
55My pup loved it! Plenty for him to sniff and climb on. He loved the agility see-saw. You could definitely hear dogs especially near the parking area but even though my dog is highly reactive, he didn’t seem to mind and was distracted enough not to care. I really liked that the front gate had a “vacant/occupied” sign, gave me some extra peace of mind. There was also a bucket/pail of what looked like fresh water as well as some balls/throwers for us to use! Great spot, well kept and very nice. Recommend!
55Clean and well kept, secure fencing. Peaceful place to let the pups run around for a bit. Will definately be coming back!
55One of the best sniffspots we've been to! An hour away and we'll worth the drive.

Hound Hill Rustic 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park in West Avon

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
