Vickies Downback is such an incredible spot for our 2 dogs to run and play. It was the first time our 10 month old puppy was off leash and she had a blast. The park is immaculate and totally secure. We'll be back!

Exceeded my expectations!
The property, supplies and fencing were immaculate and there was plenty of fresh water provided. The terrain was a blast for my dude to climb and run through- he stopped only to rehydrate😂.
The human seating options were greatly appreciated, as well!

Absolutely lovely place. Secluded, clean, multi terrain, drinking water & toys were available for Rocco. A picnic table was also available so we could rest ourselves & eat our lunch. Rocco’s home now & he’s exhausted from playing & exploring. I’ve never seen him so content & happy. Thank you, Vicky ‘s Downback Private Dog Park for providing such a great area for us to enjoy!

We just had the best experience here. My girls got to run, wrestle, play fetch and completely exhaust themselves-and I was not stressed at all. It seriously is such a relief having a private area. The park itself was immaculate, tennis balls provided, clean drinking water and even poop bags easily accessible all over. I will be booking again-very soon. There’s even seating. Highly worth the money.

Excellent communication from the owner. Property is perfect for my two border collies. Different terrains to explore (rocky, grassy, hilly). Chairs for the pets owners in good condition and water/clean up bags available. Can’t wait to return!

This was our first Sniffspot booking and what a wonderful experience. Host communicated well prior to visiting. Fresh water, waste bin, super safe fence and chuck-it's. This spot is absolutely perfect for us. My boy loves exploring more woodsy areas and gets bored and has little interest with just an open grassy space. I loved the hilly landscape and the different spots for humans to sit and hang. Will absolutely book again even if it is a bit of a trek from our home. Thank you, Vicky!

I love Vicki’s place. Moose has plenty of room to run, it’s fenced in so it’s a safe place and she always leaves fresh water and bags if needed.

We enjoyed our visit to Vicki's today with our dog, Ranger. This sniffspot is terrific! The terrain varies and is wide and long giving our dog the exercise and freedom he lives. Clean, safe, and secure in a pastoral setting. We may have enjoyed our stay as much as Ranger did!

My son and I took our 1 year old lab to this private dog park today and boy was it nice!! Came equipped with water, bags and even a few balls to throw to your dog. Moose loved this place and I was really impressed with the lay out. Well worth the price and will be returning

The best sniffspot we've been to! The are is well maintained and large. There were a bunch of different spots for our dog to go and explore. Loved the agiltiy equipment in the back. Peaceful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for.

Vicky was very informative, helpful and welcoming.
The park has a secure fence and nice clean grounds.
All of my dogs enjoyed climbing up onto the large rocks.
We work quite a bit on their recalls, you can never practice those too much.
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 95% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Bethlehem area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 82 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 31 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
