Description

Welcome! This yard was originally created for our boy, Appa, who sadly passed away. He loved having a safe space to run, sniff, and just be a dog. We’re happy to share his yard with you and hope your pup enjoys it as much as he did. The fully fenced yard backs up to quiet woods, making it a great spot for off-leash time, training, or simply hanging out. Enjoy the space and make yourselves at home in Appa’s memory. 🐾

HOST NOTE

The area behind the rear shed is fenced off; please do not allow dogs to dig near or attempt to access this area. Chestnuts may occasionally fall from surrounding trees. We routinely pick them up, but guests should be mindful of dogs that may try to eat them.

Appa’s Yard — Ground Rules **Parking** * Please do not block the main driveway or vehicles parked near the garage. * You’re welcome to park near the entry gate on the grass/stone. Please be mindful of the lawn and avoid tearing up the grass. **Gates & Fencing** * Please keep dogs leashed until you are inside and the entry gate is fully closed. * Once inside, secure the entry gate using either the middle latch or silver hook—whichever is easiest. This prevents anyone from entering behind you during your visit. * The rear shed access has been blocked off. Please do not allow dogs to dig or attempt to navigate beyond or underneath the fencing. * There is a separate gated side yard. Please do not enter this area. **Before You Leave** * Please pick up after your dog. The provided bin is for **bagged dog waste only**—please take all other trash with you. * When you leave, please **leave the entry gate open** to indicate that the space is ready for the next guest. Thank you for helping us keep Appa’s Yard safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone! 🐾
