Welcome to the Beaver Street Dog Retreat — a spacious, private backyard where your pup can run, sniff, explore, train, or simply enjoy some off-leash freedom! With 2,500+ sq. ft. of fully fenced outdoor space, there’s plenty of open grass for zoomies, fetch, agility practice, training sessions, or playtime with your dog. The yard is surrounded by mature trees and greenery, offering a peaceful, tucked-away feel with a mix of sunny and naturally shaded areas throughout the day. Humans can relax too! Our raised deck offers comfortable seating and an umbrella, so you can sit back while your pup enjoys the yard. 🐾 What you’ll find at Beaver Street Dog Retreat: * 2,500+ sq. ft. of private, fully fenced space * Large open grassy area with plenty of running room * Mature trees and greenery with both sun & shade * Great space for fetch, zoomies, training & agility practice * Comfortable deck seating for owners * Private gated entrance * Complimentary cold bottled water for our human guests when the homeowner is available 💧 Dogs will also be offered water. * A quiet, relaxed environment for dogs who simply need some space of their own Whether your pup wants to run full speed, practice their skills, sniff every corner, or roll around in the grass, the Beaver Street Dog Retreat is theirs to enjoy during your visit. Hi there! My name is Jenn, and my husband Jason and I are so happy to welcome you and your four-legged friends to our yard! I’m a private music teacher, and when I’m not teaching voice and piano, we love spending time at home and enjoying our space. We’re huge dog lovers, although we don’t have a dog of our own just yet. Having grown up loving dogs, we hope to have one someday—and in the meantime, we thought, why not share our yard with the dogs and dog lovers in our community? Our yard is a place where your pup can safely run, sniff, explore, play, and simply enjoy some off-leash time. We want every dog (and their human!) to feel comfortable and welcome here. Whether your dog needs a little extra space to burn off some energy, loves exploring new smells, or you’re simply looking for a private place to enjoy some quality time together, we’d love to host you! Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. We offer a laid-back, luxury, resort-like setting; open field, lots of grass meadows, xl in-ground, concrete, dog-friendly pool, huge fenced pool deck with lots of natural parkour levels, fenced tennis court, indoor washroom in the poolside cabana house, large outdoor fire-pit etc etc with loads of room for both dogs and their people. Two people and one dog are included in this price point and everyone is welcome in the pool! We use skimmer basket socks and an upgraded filtration system in order to be able to offer this one of a kind experience! Extra people and pets are welcome for extra fees. Please book accordingly. We also offer curated snacks and cold beverages at a cost. Please review extras. Our property is almost fully fenced, with partially fenced areas for both big and small dogs in mind. We provide a water hose and bucket for dog’s drinking. We have several lux seating areas for you and tennis, basketball and lawn games (upon request) to keep you and the kids busy. For the dogs we have all sorts of fun activities; natural parkour around the pool deck and lots of areas to keep them interested! There is a pooper scooper. We compost waste so no bags needed. Just scoop and put into the provided bucket. Unlimited on-site parking. NOTE: please respect your booking times: both check in and check out times. We have a full schedule and need the in between times to reset. As well, some of our clients have dogs that are both other pet and human reactive so we would never want any of our guests to meet other guests. NOTE: the pool is a beautiful concrete pool with a wide staircase comfortable for people and pets to enter. We have an upgraded filtration system in order to be able to offer this incredible experience in this beautiful space, however, we all have to work together to ensure it remains very well maintained and as such, we ask that your pets be very well groomed before entering the pool.
