Description

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Large 50 acre property with ponds/creek right off the 401! Unfenced but lined with tall hedge on three sides. There are great ponds for swimming and Cow Creek near the back 20 acres to play in, a wetland area has been recently installed by a nature conservation group. We ask folks to keep dogs on leash through the front 5 acres where we grow organic vegetables. Please do not enter the greenhouses or barn. Please stay out of the crops and garden beds.

HOST NOTE

Several ponds (stay off ice in winter), Cow Creek runs across the property and can run strong and fast after a big rains and in the spring. The creek has a few steep banks, please stay away from them and only use the lower access points to enjoy it. Please be very mindful of water levels and speed of currant before you allow your dogs in. The ponds may be safer water features to enjoy for small/elderly dogs. Wild animals could be present (rabbits, deer, coyotes, raccoons, opossums, etc). Potential for mud and uneven ground. Lower valley can get pretty wet when it rains a lot. Upper area is muddy in spots with winter thawing and lots of rain. Lots of trees for shade. Only bring your dog if they have good recall. Or on longline. Our dogs are always loose on our property but great with recall. We have 1 dog that will be inside when you visit. Please let me know if you want the kiddie pool in advance. We have 6 acres which is a mix of open area, woods and a creek. We keep the lawn cut but do not maintain our woods. You are free to cross the bridge and walk in the woods but it may be overgrown during summer and fall. Feel free to splash in the creek or check out the playhouse. We frequently see deer and other wildlife however they likely will be hiding when dogs are around. Please clean up after your pets. *please note we have a woodchuck living under our deck that likes to poop on our stairs. We try our best to clean it up but you may come across some woodchuck droppings. Our yard has been sprayed for mosquitoes, fleas and ticks.

Welcome! The yard is fully fenced with a 5 foot fence. There are free range ducks and chickens on the property. This property is also a business (small boarding and dog training) so there may be other dogs (leashed) outside the fenced area. We will try to avoid this if possible, if you don’t want to see other dogs outside the fence let me know and I can suggest times for total seclusion. Water is provided as well as poop pick up equipment and garbage pail. The entrance to the yard is right at the front of the property, to the left of the driveway. Please pull over on the grass I. The Pipeline. 6 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park with over 1km of trails

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD. Welcome to "The Pipeline," a field, bush, and forested area with a stream, pond, and trails that dogs are going to love exploring. No neighbours in any direction to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive, as it is a hay field, with a trail cut around the perimeter, through the middle, and into the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay in the forest and field areas. We have marked the trails with orange tape so that you can follow or just freestyle it and go wherever the nose leads. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent. There may be some burrs in the bushes,you have to watch for that. I have recently purchased a trail camera to watch for wildlife around the property, so you may once in a while see that put up in various areas.
