55Beautiful wide open space with lots of areas for the dog to explore. I'm not the most directionally savvy, and it was fairly easy to find where we were going. The creek was fuller today due to rain, and I only had running shoes, so we didn't explore them down there yet, but we will next time!

“This is a working organic farm, during the growing season we are out and about on the farm all day. We have a few very dog friendly staff members and the general public comes and goes to buy veggies. Please keep your dog on a leash through the front acreage to ensure they stay out of the vegetable beds and away from civilians. When you are past that area and on you walk you will have full privacy.”

Description

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Large 50 acre property with ponds/creek right off the 401! Unfenced but lined with tall hedge on three sides. There are great ponds for swimming and Cow Creek near the back 20 acres to play in, a wetland area has been recently installed by a nature conservation group. We ask folks to keep dogs on leash through the front 5 acres where we grow organic vegetables. Please do not enter the greenhouses or barn. Please stay out of the crops and garden beds.

HOST NOTE

Several ponds (stay off ice in winter), Cow Creek runs across the property and can run strong and fast after a big rains and in the spring. The creek has a few steep banks, please stay away from them and only use the lower access points to enjoy it. Please be very mindful of water levels and speed of currant before you allow your dogs in. The ponds may be safer water features to enjoy for small/elderly dogs. Wild animals could be present (rabbits, deer, coyotes, raccoons, opossums, etc). Potential for mud and uneven ground.
