55They were incredibly accommodating and so kind! Unexpectedly, it started raining heavily, and since they didn’t have anyone else booked, they graciously allowed me to return later with my pups without any additional charges! Thank you for the amazing place!
55Safe and fun spot for our dogs to run around! Very peaceful and the horses next door were so fun to watch. Lots of horse poop so just wear tall boots!
45Huge area for leash free training and playing. Safe area and safe for dogs. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because you really need to watch out for horse poop. Wear the right shoes & be prepared for possible dog bath after and will be just fine for any dog & any owner.

55Great place to stop on our way to Illinois. Super easy to find and very easy access! Peaceful and wide open. My guy LOVED sniffing all around and saying hello to the horses nearby. Heads up, though, to anyone else’s dog who likes to eat poop- there’s a TON of it! But it was a great opportunity for us to practice Leave it and our recall. 🤩
55Our doggies had so much fun running and playing here! Watch out for horse poop! That is in their description though and we didn’t mind too much😊 There was one tiny dog outside when we got here but it completely left us alone and didn’t come up. If your dog is reactive just watch out for that. There was one hole that our medium size dog got her head through so if you have small dogs be cautious of that. Overall, it was a good experience and I’m thankful that they had a place to play that was accommodating!

55We used this to introduce my current dogs to my new roommate’s dog and we will definitely be back to play in the future! There are some small gaps in the fence and horse poop on the pasture but my dogs had a blast running and sniffing!
55We enjoyed visiting this sniffspot, it's a good location & easy to find. Our dogs did locate some decent size holes at the bottom of the fence. Our smallest dog is 40 lbs & she probably could fit through if she really wanted to. Not really a problem for us, just something to beware of. I recommend this sniffspot, and look forward to visiting again.

Description

A great place to let your dog romp! A pasture, fully fenced with horse wire with very few small places a very small dog could squeeze through. It is an active farm with horses in the next field. A stock tank and water faucet available for use! There may be some horse poop present. There’s a small parking area right off the gravel drive and then a short walk to the gate. Please use the small chain to open and close the gate and leave all gates as you found them!

If you plan to take the trail around the lake, please note that it is a work in progress and there is some discarded material from before we owned the land. There are breaks in the fence around the trail, so a leash is recommended for dogs with less training. You may enter the backyard from the gate at the end of the concrete pad.
