55Love this spot! It was so nice to let the pups run as if we were on a hike and I appreciated the provided poop bags and multiple water and trash stations. It was also in a really nice quiet area which was great for my one guy whose noise phobia has been worse lately. If you have a small dog definitely pay attention to the one spot that’s a bigger gap in the fence. I saw reviews (and it mentioned in the listing) and naively thought my 30lb corgi wouldn’t be able to fit but he walked right through. Luckily he came right back but if recall isn’t great definitely stay vigilant for that.
55Puppy zoomies and helicopter tail on a thousand! 🌪️ lol. Bliss 🐾 definitely beat up that dirt. 😅 She had the best time and the best nap right after!
55A very nice wooded space with trails. A lot of stuff to sniff, and our dog loved exploring and racing around the woods. Fencing was short in a few spots, as the owner described. I could see that a jumper or determined small dog might get though, but those areas were well marked and fine for our dog. A fun outing!
55Awesome space, definitely some looser/lower fencing along the side that backs up against the nursery but there was so much inside the trails to occupy my dogs I wasn’t worried. Awesome space. Good place to train your off leash reliability as it effectively mimics hiking trails!
55This was our first time trying a SniffSpot and our golden retriever had so much fun! He ran and ran like a crazy dog and we couldn’t stop laughing. He had never been off leash in the woods before and was thrilled. The area is fully fenced in, but the fence is low in one area, about 4 feet. If you have a jumper they could easily go over. The instructions for finding the place made it sound a little complicated, but it wasn’t at all. You turn off the main road onto Sylvan street. That’s it. There’s a SniffSpot sign right where you need to turn, and a parking sign where you park. Overall a great experience and one I recommend!

Description

Our 2.5 acre park is a tranquil path through the woods with multiple path options and limitless nature to behold, accompanied by a soundtrack of birds and insects. The ample trails that cover the park are easy to traverse, and your dogs will be delighted exploring the endless smells in between those paths to sniff…and pee on. If you love to hike with your dog but wish they could be off leash to investigate the wonders of the woods so you can marvel at the variety of ferns and fungi, this is the place to let your dog run free without worrying about them getting lost. The trails and fencing are a continual work in progress, maintained and built over a decade and then some. We ask our own dogs to help decide where any new paths should go, and if there are any gaps in the perimeter fencing, we hope you and your dogs will do the same. Please be mindful of roots and rocks along the paths, the trail is more natural in some places than others. Get your birding app ready, put your running shoes on, bring your camera and binoculars--there is more to this park than joyous zoomies for your dog! Trail Length: park perimeter is approx. .25 miles, all (3) loops are approx. .58 miles

-Any critters and plants one might find in the woods in NC may be present. -The trails are wide but have roots and stones in some spots. -There are (2) interior trails connecting the north side of the park to the south side, one has a bridge over a creek bed… which may have water in it, if it ever rains here again. -There are foot trails in progress which are more “wild” than the main paths.

I have a fully fenced in yard. There is one gap, but we have covered it with cinder blocks. It is a 6 ft privacy fence, so you shouldn’t see the neighbors. One set of next door neighbors has a dog that is occasionally out. Please keep dogs on leash when outside of the yard. Thank you! Out in the yard there will be balls for your pup to play with, a water bowl, and a hose. We can also set up a tent we use for vendor events when it’s sunny or raining for shade/coverage. Just let us know in advance. There is also shade from a large tree in the yard. If you need a dog first aid kit, we will have one in the house along with things like water for humans, snacks for pups and humans, and a restroom for humans to use. If you need a towel for your pup, let us know, and we’ll be glad to give you a dog towel to use. We will bring things out to you. These are only available if we are home. Street parking is available at all times. You may park in the driveway, but please ask first in case one of us is going to have to leave (or coming back) while you are there.
