We’ve got off-street parking, tables, chairs, poop bag stations, and indoor bathrooms to make your visit comfortable and convenient. Our sniff spot is located on the West side of the lot, and please remember: a reservation is required to use this space. You are welcome to access the bathrooms through the double gates. The restaurant itself is not accessible behind a locked gate. All garage doors will remain locked, as our other sniff spot areas will be available for rent separately. Frank's Place - 5 Acres of Play Space

*** Closed March 9-March 11, 2026 for tree trimming and maintenance *** Welcome to our private, fully fenced 5-acre Sniffspot on Frank Road, designed for safe off-leash play and relaxed exploring. This is a quiet, secure space where dogs can run freely, sniff to their hearts’ content, and enjoy real outdoor enrichment without the stress of public dog parks. Many guests find it ideal for reactive dogs, shy dogs, high-energy dogs, or dogs that simply love having room to roam. The property includes a mix of open running areas and natural tree-lined spaces, giving dogs variety while owners enjoy mountain views, peaceful surroundings, and benches for resting. The entire area is fully fenced so you can relax while your dog explores. You’ll find poop bags and a trash bucket provided, and there is plenty of space to wander at your own pace. My own dogs are small dachshunds, so I pay attention to secure fencing and safe access for small dogs as well as large dogs. Just a little yard behind a little house in the old colorado city/westside area. Quiet, private, clean, not yet fully landscaped - but working on it! Secure 6ft fence, locks securely once you are on the inside of the gate. Mostly wood chips and dirt in the yard and minimal gravel that is bordering the house. Area rug with umbrella-covered patio table and chairs. Electrical outlet available for laptops/phones, WiFi provided. Easy access, private space, quiet neighbors. Great for any dog at any hour of the day. Note: a bit harder for extremely high energy large dogs to run enough laps in the yard to become tired as the yard is not huge, but plenty of sniffs to go around and still a little room to throw a ball! Dogs ok on outdoor loveseat.

Ruff 'n Rugged 40 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Calhan

Ruff 'n Rugged's 40 acre dog park is perfect for high drive, high energy dogs. This is a great location to work on your off leash training. It has a neatly mowed area of approximately 2 acres, a mowed, well marked trail which is about 1/2 mile long, with the remainder of the area in native grasses and vegetation. On any visit you may see cottontail rabbits, jack rabbits, pronghorn antelope and other wildlife native to this area. The parking area is a good distance from the entrance so you can unload and load your dogs safely without having to worry about traffic. We have a great view of Pikes Peak, well away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quiet, peaceful & relaxing. You will enjoy your visit just as much as your dogs.

You’ll have the entire space to yourself during your reservation—no other dogs or guests unless you bring them! You may see one of our staff members on-site, but we’ll stay out of your way so you and your pup can enjoy uninterrupted playtime. All Breed Rescue & Training indoor facilities

All Breed Rescue & Training is a non-profit organization that helps dogs that were deemed unadoptable for whatever reason and were facing euthanasia. We are also a Training Facility where people can learn to train their pups! We teach anything from Basic Obedience and Puppy socialization classes to more Advanced classes and even some fun classes like Nose Work. We also offer behavior training to help those who have dogs that struggle with behavioral issues. If you are interested in training please reach out to us on our website haveanicedog.org We have three spaces available for renting! The Canine Lifestyle Center (CLC) A tenth of an acre is perfect for agility or for an indoor place to run and play, away from distractions, and with a private bathroom you won't need to leave the space well here! Training Room West This space is smaller and less private but a great space for those with people loving dogs or those wanting to work on their pup's training privately who may lose focus on you when others are around! Behavior Room This space is a similar size to our Training Room West but is a private space with its own entrance and easy access to the front office if you need to use the bathroom or have a question! This space is climate-controlled and a nice space to play or practice with a small agility course or even introduce your pup to new games such as Nose Work! No One will enter the room you book unless you specifically ask for someone to come in. You will have the space completely to yourself until your booked time is over. Please let us know what space you would like to use when booking by adding your room choice to the "add a note to your host" and stating Canine Lifestyle Center, Training Room West, or Behavior Room. You may also request any amenities we offer to be in that space before you arrive.
