Hi! I love animals, and would be honored to host your special pets! I've been pet sitting for over 10 years and house sitting for about as long. I grew up in a family full of pets, so for as long as I can remember, I've been taking care of them — either my own or for other people.

I have a fully fenced in yard. There is one gap, but we have covered it with cinder blocks. It is a 6 ft privacy fence, so you shouldn’t see the neighbors. One set of next door neighbors has a dog that is occasionally out. Please keep dogs on leash when outside of the yard. Thank you! Out in the yard there will be balls for your pup to play with, a water bowl, and a hose. We can also set up a tent we use for vendor events when it’s sunny or raining for shade/coverage. Just let us know in advance. There is also shade from a large tree in the yard. If you need a dog first aid kit, we will have one in the house along with things like water for humans, snacks for pups and humans, and a restroom for humans to use. If you need a towel for your pup, let us know, and we’ll be glad to give you a dog towel to use. We will bring things out to you. These are only available if we are home. Street parking is available at all times. You may park in the driveway, but please ask first in case one of us is going to have to leave (or coming back) while you are there.

Our 2.5 acre park is a tranquil path through the woods with multiple path options and limitless nature to behold, accompanied by a soundtrack of birds and insects. The ample trails that cover the park are easy to traverse, and your dogs will be delighted exploring the endless smells in between those paths to sniff…and pee on. If you love to hike with your dog but wish they could be off leash to investigate the wonders of the woods so you can marvel at the variety of ferns and fungi, this is the place to let your dog run free without worrying about them getting lost. The trails and fencing are a continual work in progress, maintained and built over a decade and then some. We ask our own dogs to help decide where any new paths should go, and if there are any gaps in the perimeter fencing, we hope you and your dogs will do the same. Please be mindful of roots and rocks along the paths, the trail is more natural in some places than others. Get your birding app ready, put your running shoes on, bring your camera and binoculars--there is more to this park than joyous zoomies for your dog! Trail Length: park perimeter is approx. .25 miles, all (3) loops are approx. .58 miles

***Naturally treat our yard in the summer so that our guests can enjoy As a rescuer, I totally understand some dogs just can't do social (myself, most of the time too), so dog park is a No. SniffSpot is an option for those special pooches. Quiet private Oasis for guests, private 100% fenced yard, sloped grass yard with 3 patio area. A lot to sniff, a lot of stairs to work out those legs. Very clean yard since I pick up after my own dogs daily. You can sit and relax or enjoy your book or bring a date. Squirrels and birds will make your visit more exciting. We're only 3 mins from Fenton, 2 mins from Downtown Cary. Sometimes I provide water (If I'm home and only one booking) you can get water from garden hose just make sure to shut off the faucet, water rate in Cary is outrageous 😳 Please msg us if you don't see any availability 😀8
