55Great communication, totally easy to find, trails were well marked, and my dogs had a blast. The streams made for lots of fun dog splashing, and the whole path was gorgeous. A perfect first experience and we’ll definitely be back!!
55Pretty sure Ariel is the luckiest dog in the world. It was so nice being able to walk in the woods without worrying about off leash dogs. Definitely coming back! Thank you for sharing your space!
55What a nice place! The trails are well-marked and cleared. The property is peaceful and beautiful. My dogs found awesome sticks, fun water features and (best of all) a mud puddle or two. They had a blast. Thank you Lauryn, for sharing your land.
55Our first time, so much fun! Leo & I both needed the nature. Lauryn was so great in communicating and let us know she had her phone with her in case we needed anything. Lots of space, easy and fun walk with a clear path. We definitely will be back again!
55Absolutely gorgeous spot! There was so much to explore for our pup and for us…we had a lot of fun identifying plants and birds, our dog absolutely loved the streams and climbing around the rocks. We already booked our next visit and we only left a couple minutes ago 😂 can’t wait to explore more! My best pro tip: book two hours. We only did one and felt like there was still a lot of lovely woods and trail left
55My dogs absolutely LOVED this trail. Streams for them to jump and swim in. They loved it, will be going back.
55Lovely, quiet woods to hike! The host could not have been nicer or more accommodating!.....gave detailed description of the trail and her phone number in case we needed help. Highly recommend! Thank you Lauryn!!
55The host, Lauryn, was very sweet and helpful. Showed us where to go and explained the trail so that it was easy to navigate. My pups got to run, sniff and explore like real dogs should. The hike itself was pretty, quiet and comfortable. Very cute spot, we will definitely come back :)

Hound Hill Rustic 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park in West Avon

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
