Would be helpful if there was sniffspot sign like other spots I’ve been to. Area could be cleaner as others have mentioned.

  • Lois T., Mar 27, 2023

My dog and I went to Stephanie's dog park on Saturday evening. They have two metal gates that I had to to pick up the gate that is heavy to open it. My dog was very scared of the noise it made. I forgot my poop bags in the car. I left my dog in the field when I got back the neighbor's dog was in the field with my girl. The other dog didn't like my dog, my dog wants to play with all other dogs.

    Loved it.

I'm not sure if it's because we came so late on a Saturday and it was probably used all day...but it was pretty trashed. I found lots of garbage and a few poop piles that were not cleaned up. Poor communication with the host as well, I told them we would be arriving about 5 minutes early and asked if they needed us to drive around a minute or go ahead to swing by but they didn't say anything back at all. My dog didn't care, he's a dog, lol, so I ran him around for about 15 minutes and then decided to leave early. I'm only giving 2 stars because they did have tennis balls all over and my dog had fun and didn't really want to go, but I was honestly starting to feel sketched out by how much clutter was around and just the overall state of the property so I just really was uncomfortable the whole time. This listing also says there will not be any other dogs here and on our way out a dog was barking at us in their front yard and scared the crap out of us. There are alot better places on this app to bring your pets, I would not recommend this spot.

Host replied: Ryn, I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your time here. Unfortunately, I have had to go back to work, and am no longer able to be as immediately responsive to guests as much as it pains me. I am also the only one who gets notifications about bookings, so my poor hubby didn't know you would be coming and hadn't checked the field or brought the dog in. So you are completely right, it's something that I need to figure out ASAP! I feel badly that your experience here was marred by this transition. I will make sure that he gets the notifications going forward, and hopefully you can come back and have the wonderful experience with your pup that you had hoped for. Please let me know if you are willing to come give us another shot. I will block out a time slot for you to come play on me ☺️

Nice spacious area! Cash had so much fun. Sniffspot provided toys and water bowl for my pup. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the space!

  • Austin H., Mar 11, 2023

Large field with tennis balls all around. We had a great time with our pups there

  • Rebecca V., Mar 11, 2023

When you first get there the hosts front yard is to the left of where you park to enter the back yard where you’re going. When we got there today there were two dogs barking and excited to see my dog, luckily she’s not reactive but I could see this being hard if your pup is. The gate is a bit heavy and tricky to move if you have your hands full with dog toys and your dogs leash, but the yard was huge, there were tennis balls, chairs, an umbrella, and we had tons of fun! My dog is exhausted from chasing balls and we will definitely be back!

  • K M., Mar 7, 2023

Really nice spot; my dog loved it!

  • Darian R., Feb 3, 2023

Sniff Spot was clean and the dogs had plenty of room to run and wrestle! One of the fences was down (may have been from the strong winds earlier in the day) but there was another gate barrier so everything was fully contained. Will be back for sure!

Host replied: Thank you for letting me know! I got it fixed up that day so we are ready for you guys to come play😁

  • KJ S., Jan 29, 2023

host was nice when greeting us and also asked permission to bring own dog out to play with ours. big open space and not a problem with secure fencing. will be back! although keep aware if you bring own toys bc tricky to find in the field with longish grass/little mounds.

Welcome to our cozy little playground. We have two corgis who love to run, play fetch and just being in the outdoor space. We know how hard it can be to find a safe space for your furbabies to run and enjoy freely. This is one of the biggest reason why we moved to our forever home in Lynnwood. And we’d love to share this space with you. Please kindly pick after your dogs. We put in a lots of love and effort into maintaining this space and we hope you love this space as much as we do. GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT 1) We’ve been noticing an increase number of dog waste that’s been left behind. We understand it’s challenging to see/locate them with all the muddiness in the yard sometimes. However, for all pups health and safety please ensure you pick up after your pups and take some time to go through the yard prior to your departure. This is especially important as we are currently not always on-site and are unable to reset/sweep the yard as frequently as we’d like to. We appreciate those of you who put in the extra effort to care for our yard like your own. Thank you so so much for your love! 2) We've recently fill in some holes in the yard. Please kindly refrain letting your dog dig in the yard as potholes can be hazardous for both the humans and our short legged furiends. WET SEASON The yard can get pretty muddy with consistent rainfall. We recommend bringing extra towels for the pups. It is usually in a much better state after a rain free day. PARKING You're welcome to park in our driveway. Please kindly park on the right side and enter from the fence to the left of our house. PATIO In the backyard, feel free to sit and relax on the patio, but please kindly keep the pups off outside the white gate, this is to help maintain our furniture’s cleanliness. WATER During winter season, the water spigot will be covered and not be made available. Please kindly bring your own water for your pups. Otherwise, for all other times the water station for the pups is located by the west side of the house near the spigot. Feel free to use it for refill if needed. DOG TOYS You're welcome to entertain your pups with the toys provided located at the entrance to the side yard / prior entering the grass area. However if a toy is accidentally misplace during a play please let us know. DOG WASTE Please be aware of where your pups are exploring and kindly go through the entire yard once before your departure to ensure that all dog waste has been picked up and properly tied and disposed in the light blue bin beside the toy station. HVAC UNIT We have a HVAC unit on site. It is currently fenced in with a simple fencing system however please kindly avoid letting your pups mark on the fence / unit and refrain from placing your belongings on top of the unit. DIGGING Please kindly refrain letting your dog dig in the yard as potholes can be hazardous for both the humans and our short legged furiends. REACTIVE DOGS We are located in a residential neighborhood. Please be aware that: - Neighbors and dogs may be be visible prior to entering our yard. - Occasionally people may be walking their dog on the other side of the fence. - Our neighbor owns a dog and he/she occasionally goes out for potty breaks in their yard (separated from us by a double fence). - We have two dogs that stay inside with us. However, my younger corgi can be vocal when she’s playing with her brother. And if your pup is also on the more vocal side, my corgis tend to like to "answer" or reciprocate. In the last three scenarios, both humans and dogs will not be visible from the yard however can certainly be heard. EXCESSIVE BARKING As we’re located in a neighborhood community, we kindly ask that you help keep your pups’ barking during plays to the minimum. MEMBERSHIP AND BENEFITS 2 hours / month = $12 4 hours / month = $23 8 hours / month = $44 Members have access to member-only hours and two weeks booking window instead of one. Currently I am no longer on-site during most of the visits. Most messages/communication will happen at the end of the day. If you have any concerns or discovers anything that's been left behind (dog waste, personal belongings) please let us know via message and we will try our best to help resolve the issue.

BIG YARD for BIG FUN!!! (CLOSED— See description)

⚠️ CLOSED TILL FURTHER NOTICE ⚠️ 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Due to personal medical issues and the recovery process involved — I’m sorry to have to say we will not be reopening till possibly late Spring to Summer of 2023. It’s just too much for me to handle the set up and making sure the spot is kept up between guests while I’m also recuperating & healing. I anticipate another surgery early in the year — so hopefully we can reopen in time for the Summer Season. Please check availability— if we’re able to open sooner, the calendar will be adjusted. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you again upon reopening!!! *************************************** WELCOME to BIG YARD for BIG FUN!! This is a fairly big yard to tire out those dogs that just want to run and play and jump around!!! My dogs have their toys and tennis balls strewn about, along with more toys in a big plastic bin by the shed. You & your dog(s) are welcome to play with all the toys while you’re here, but please don’t take them with you. Depending on the time of day there are shady spots to rest too. Feel free to use the deck to rest or the patio chairs & table. Multiple dog water bowls are provided as well which have been cleaned/sanitized and filled with fresh water just prior to your arrival. There’s also a water spigot & hose over by the chicken run if bowls need refilling or if you want to cool or wash your pups off. No towels are provided. **Doggy Pool, Water Mister &/or sprinkler can be set up ON REQUEST! Just check off the “Extra”box when you book and I’ll have it ready for your arrival!! BYOT = Bring Your Own Towels!! We ask kindly if you would make sure to leave the yard as clean as you found it. Please clean up after your dog. There are 2 small waste bins and 2 pooper scoopers available. There are rolls of poop bags too in a basket on the table if you’d rather bag it vs. scooping. There’s a hand sanitizer station located on the post by the gate entering chicken coop & a jug of sanitizer & other supplies in the baskets set out on the table by the shed. I’ve placed some treats out on the table too. They’re in a closed container so “nosey” noses hopefully will not detect them on their own — but as the hooman, feel free to share with your pup!! Please DO NOT open the wooden gate on the north side of the house while you’re visiting. The area behind that gate leads to a side entrance into the house that my dogs have access to via a doggy door. So while I do my best to have my dogs go unnoticed while you’re visiting, they may be in the side yard going potty or curious about your presence and you may see a nose under the gate or hear one of them say hello!! As far as the neighbor’s dog goes…she’s SUPER LOUD & a bit terrifying when she barks and jumps at the fence. She isn’t mean, although she may sound like it, she’s just an untrained & bored pup. I’ve spoken with her owners and we’ve come to an agreement that I will be texting them when someone reserves the Sniffspot. They will then bring Stella indoors so she won’t be a bother to anyone using the spot. If you should find this is NOT the case while you’re here, please message me thru the app RIGHT AWAY and I’ll get the issue taken care of. Also full disclosure: There are a few cameras placed around the property. These are not monitored during your visits, however, they do record activity for me to review at a later time if needed. They have all been set up to be able to keep track of my dog’s activities and were in place long before we became Sniffspot hosts. Let me know if there is anything I can do to make yours or your dog's visit more enjoyable!! If you need anything during your visit, message me thru the app and I should be able to get back to you immediately. Please don’t forget to rate & review!! We love to know how we’re doing as your Sniffspot hosts. Also feel free to share your experiences with pictures and/or videos on social media (Facebook & Instagram) and please share our site listing as well as tag Sniffspot too!! MOST IMPORTANTLY — HAVE FUN!!! Do you want to have a puppy play date?? Are you a dog walker and would like to take your pack on a field trip?? We’d love to have you and all your friends here!! Please message me before you reserve the spot so we can adjust for your booking. HOURS of OPERATION: 7:30a - 8:00p If you are interested in reserving the spot right at opening, please book with as much advance notice as you can. That advance planning helps me to get the space set up the night before and not wake up to a surprise visit or miss your reservation entirely. Thank you for the consideration. New for our spot: Sign up for membership!! Save money by getting a discounted monthly rate with rollover hours and get priority preferred hours with less advance notice for booking. As a member you’re still able to book other times outside of the preferred hours. Any questions — feel free to message me!! Thank you!!
