Our park has both sunny areas, and shady areas at all times of the day. Please do not pick or disturb the fruit and fence lines. Fetch on a few different long, and large lawns that are non fenced, off leash, for those that are in full control of the friendly dogs. We are off the road and a safe, quiet, very private property. Let your dogs bark, we are dog friendly and understand they need to freely play! No mud ever, all of our property drains properly and is well maintained. We have plenty of parking, our setting is very private above large homestead acreage quiet farmland fields of the Schwarzmiller River Valley, Barkley Park is just 3 miles from old town Lake Stevens. To enter the fenced Sniffspot follow the red reflectors up the grassy lawn hill past the large livestock gate that’s at the top, go around the top corner there is a people sized gate. Enjoy staying warm and dry in our raised floor covered warming hut with seating and protection from the weather. Easy to find, easy to enter our fenced Sniffspot. Easy latch for coming, and going. If you choose to be adventurous you may choose to visit the forest area behind the fenced area. It’s a steep hill up with natural woodland ground, lots of ferns, beautiful nature untouched. Old trails exist, we have not cleared them in recent years, feel free to explore them if you would like to just know, they are not maintained and certain times of year there is brush and ferns. We have running water with a hose for your convenience at our pump house. You may occasionally see myself, my husband or my elderly mother by the house, and patio, working on the property and gardens, area around our home. We live above farms that takes care of their fields so you may hear mowing in the distance in the valley we set above. Please do not pick, or disturb the fruit on the trees. Please keep children, and all guests off the fence line, and do not step on the gates or fencing. Shut the gates when coming, and going. Please leash your dog/dogs upon arrival until you become aware of the setting. Your reservation must include the correct number of dogs in your visit that is stated in your reservation time. Correct or update this if need be before you start your visit at Barkley Park. We are happy to share our safe quiet countryside with pups and their people. We do not meet our Sniffspot guests, with that being said, feel free to send us a text or ask if you need help with anything. Enjoy! We do offer pet boarding in our home for select clients. Everything our pup enjoys in life, is available to your pet, including a big pillow bed in the heart of our home.

Grassy Fenced Yard in Lake Forest Park

Fully fenced backyard in Lake Forest Park, just 1 mile northwest of Third Place Books at the Towne Centre. The yard is grass, and the covered porch under the balcony is cement. A variety of toys are available in a plastic bin on the porch labeled Sniffspot for any interested pups. Some lawn chairs are also available on the porch for any humans, and two water bowl are present for thirsty pups after some hard play :). Spigot is located on the south-facing wall between the porch and some rose bushes. An unoccupied dog house across the yard under the tallest tree is also available for pups to duck into and explore.

Welcome! Our place is fully fenced with mesh wire, which will keep all dogs secured. The whole 3-acre is for you to enjoy, including the fenced-in meadow/arena, front and back around the house. Most of the land is flat and accessible. There are a couple of stairs and a small slope lead to my house and the back yard. I understand the significance of providing them with a safe space to unwind. We will never come out when you are here without prior communication. Christina's Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Arlington

Fully fenced, mostly grass(rather dry and crispy during summer) with a wood chip and dirt walking path around the outer edge of the ever-changing yard and a couple garden beds. It's relatively flat and great for fetching! There are neighbor dogs that may occasionally bark next door along with a nearby horse we can hear every once in a while, but other than that, it's pretty quiet. [edit: The neighbor dogs are out more often for summer and they have been a bit barky, so if your dog is reactive, my spot might be better one to visit when Fall gets here and the Dachshunds are back to just being indoors] There are many squirrels and birds that frequent the yard, along with at least one mole that wreaks a bit of havoc on the grass. I'd prefer no digging, but if your dog got a mole, I would probably not be that upset about a hole. We lost one of our dogs last year and our remaining dog seems bored with the yard. I'm hoping making our yard into a Sniffspot will give him some enrichment as well, sniffing all the new dogs who have visited the yard. So far, all the new sniffs have been very exciting for my little rescue gremlin. :)

Two grassy sloping yard areas, a covered shelter with a table and chairs and “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill to a shady, fern filled, mossy ravine with a seasonal stream.. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens near the Parking Area. During your visit, feel free to pick wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse happened before we could arrange for it to be replaced.

There is a pathway that leads to the top of our hill, that provides gorgeous views and a wide open space for your pup to run free. It is secluded with giant trees surrounding the perimeter. **our dog walk is currently broken due to tree damage** Our facility has a fenced off-leash Dog Park with Agility Equipment with unfenced on-leash grassy potty area just outside. Our agility course is complete with multiple single jumps, A-frame, tunnel, teeter and weave poles. On-leash trail walk through our wooded trails behind the dog park are now included at no additional fee! Cedarbrook Farms is a 60 acre farm with about half of this acreage as wooded trails behind the dog agility park. The main trail loop is to the right and is maintained (however there are two wet spots, we recommend you wear boots in the rainy season), the loop to the left may or may not be maintained. You can access the main loop out the back gate of the dog park (be sure to close and secure the gate behind you) or if you go out the front dog park gate, walk around towards the back of the dog park and hang right when you see trail options. There are single track cross through trails through the center of the main loop that you can explore at your leisure as well. The main loop is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Dogs must remain on leash at all times on the trails/in the unfenced areas, horses/dogs share use of these trails. Enjoy exploring! There is a portapotty available on site at the main arena barn, please have your dog in the car prior to approaching the arena barn area. 29 acre farm, but the only farming these days is making hay. The whole area is cleared with only two small groves of trees. We are close to town, and there is a fenced walking path outside one side of the perimeter. Otherwise, there are woods on two sides and a street on the the fourth. There is a small pond at the northwest corner. People and dogs may be walking on the path outside the fence. We have no control over this. This is a farm, not a park! There are no walking paths, and depending on the time of year, pasture grasses may be very high (especially in spring.) Hay mowing doesn’t usually start until late May. I recommend wearing boots and bringing a towel to wipe your dog’s feet.

Hi there , after parking on the outside of the gate to our property please walk through pulling the gate towards you and walk through the first Meadow and follow the signs to the sniff spot area . Please keep your dogs on a leash through the first field while we are working on improving the sniff spot area, if recall is not good. ** This beautiful 2-acre spot is fully fenced - 4-5' high, gates 4' high. Please note that the first Pasture that you come to does have an area where dogs can potentially get through and back to the gravel road. It is right inside the first gate on your right in the forest area there. The great thing is we are not near any sort of busy road. One thing to note is that my neighbor on the adjoining property has friendly, smaller dogs, and they do bark from time to time. You really can't see them all that much as there is brush, sticker bushes, and trees in between our properties. That said, you may hear them from time to time. What I find that works in quieting them up is to just walk over and talk to them. We welcome dogs that have different anxieties as well as being dog reactive and people reactive. There have been many people here with their dogs who have done just fine. There is a spigot with fresh clean well water, right inside the second pasture on the left by the shelter. We also have a bowl there for your use. We have wood for you to purchase, should you desire a fire while there. There are plenty of chairs and benches for folks to sit on. Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or fertilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags and other trash in the little blue trash bin under the table. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Note that we are within hearing distance from a sportsman club\firing range, so at times there may be noise. Please reach out with any questions you may have!

Lots of sticks for carrying and chewing. Most dogs are very interested in my shed. At least 1 bunny lives underneath. If you have a digger, hunter, critter-playing dog, I would love for them to erase my nuisance that eats a few of my plants in my yard.
