Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use, enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out by copying and pasting link below to browser or search listing through the hipcamp site. https://www.hipcamp.com/washington/grace-e-s-mini-forest/the-mini-forest-cabins Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little hike up our mini forest..

Easy parking on the side of street in front of house. Fence was fully secure all around. My dog is an escape artist and investigates each inch. Clean and spot to sit out of the rain.

My first Sniffspot experience and it was excellent! Everything was super secure for my highly dog reactive dog, and I especially loved that we could lock the entrance so that we didn't have any accidental run ins if another person showed up too early. Looking forward to renting again!

Very easy to locate and access! Good open space for my pup to run through. I would recommend wearing boots if the weather has been a bit wet and bring a towel for your car if you've got a mud loving pup. Great experience!

We had a lovely time here! It's a great space and there were thoughtful touches like a few balls, bowls for water, chairs for us to sit, etc. The grass was muddy, but that's January in the PNW. We would definitely come back!

Great Sniffspot! Easy to find, park, and enter. Lots of space to sniff (Harley’s favorite activity) and run around. Will likely come here again when things dry out a bit!

Another successful puppy playdate in a large yard. While the rain was coming in good, the grass helped minimize some of the muddiness and kept the pups on their feet (though mine did bite it on her first zoomie). Overall, an excellent, clean spot with some good mentally stimulating smells and room for the runners.

FAQ about our Everett dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Everett area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 118 fully fenced dog parks in the area. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
