My prevailing wind is from the South BUT I do get the cold NE wind from Canada. NOTE: This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dog's bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!

Peaceful mini-retreat with field & woods

Fully/securely fenced 20 acre spot with a field & orchard in the front. The back half is forested and has maintained trails throughout. Features include covered picnic tables in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, balls/toys etc - see amenities for more details. There are seasonal streams & ponds in the woods during the wet season. Gravel, woodchips & foot bridges keep the main trails in decent shape but there's easy access to mud & water so expect a wet, dirty pup. Outdoor hose and rinse station provided. Waterproof traction boots, rainwear + towels recommended. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by SS and spot specific rules and asking all who accompany you to do the same. First time visitors get an auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

Off West Pole Road, there’s a little lane next to a DeWildes nursery field. Our front field has a hidden gate (see pictures!) that will let you into our fully fenced front field. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn. When possible, please fill any dug-up spots so as to keep people and pups from tripping or getting hurt!

We offer a farm setting open field with loads of room for both dogs and their people. Private fenced parking area off the street. Enter off 248 Street at 5245 248 Street. Our park is fully fenced with both big and small dogs in mind. We have added a permanent shelter from both sun and shade complete with a picnic table and seating for you. There is a play structure to keep your kids busy. WINTER PROGRAM STARTS NOVEMBER 1ST. NO WATER Available. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN. THE EQUIPMENT IS PUT AWAY FOR WINTER. This is a safe place to run your dog and play but none of the equipment will be out. We open to the summer program April 1st. We provide a pooper scooper. We compost waste so no bags needed. Just scoop and put into the provided bucket. Please do not leave your plastic poop bags here. We have no way to dispense of it. There is plenty of room to play ball or practice obedience. This is a farm setting but we are in a residential area so please cognizant of noise either by humans or dogs. It’s surrounded by trees for a nice private time. We look forward to hosting you!

Step into our fully fenced in dog park nestled in a beautiful forest full of cedars, maples, and many many ferns. The dogs will be so mentally engaged jumping over logs, dodging through ferns and playing with sticks galore. There is a path worn in around the perimeter of the zone, but feel free to romp where ever you please if you dare! There are poop bags and a bucket for these at the front gate. There is water in a blue 5 gallon jug and a dog bowl. Please note- the road through the property to reach sniff spot is gravel!

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD due to this app, not accepting Canadian funds. This space has some a covered sitting area with bench, poop bags and a disposal bucket. Great spot for throwing the ball with the chuck-it, digging box (please don't let them take ALL the sand out) and a climbing apparatus for the dogs away from the fence line. Only vaccinated dogs use this space. Park and go straight to the front fenced yard for your time period. We ask that you do not walk your dog around the property or bring them into the shelter - only to and from the yard. There is a no "nose-to-nose" rule at the facility and no dog is too be off leash on the grounds unless contained in the fenced yard. Public washroom available while your dog is contained in your vehicle, inside the shelter between 9am and 5:30pm.
