Description

Approximately. 25 acres, fenced in. Shade from trees. 8' x 24" stock tank pool with porch. There is a ramp that you are welcome to use for your dog(s) to get in/out if they are not able to jump in/out. Please no children in the pool. An adult may get in if your dog requires assistance getting in/out. The pool is lightly chlorinated. I will remove the chlorine floater prior to a guests arrival. The yard is fully fenced, however, if you have a small dog, there may be gaps in a few spots. There are several dog toys scattered around the yard...balls, and water toys. The screened porch door will be locked for our privacy. Supervision is required for dogs who wish to swim. There's a proper scooper available as well as bags and a trash can. A water bowl and dog treats will be in front of the screened porch. There's a hose on the side of the house if your pooch prefers a little hose time. Please make sure to shut the water off after using it. For safety reasons, if you need to get in the pool to help your dog in or out, we ask that you not jump in! The water is only between 22" - 24". You may climb in by the deck steps on the side, or by sitting on the edge. Since the pool has a liner, please make sure you get your doggies a pedicure before they start enjoying the water!

*No children in the stock tank pool. *Adult humans - you may enter the pool to assist your dog(s) in/out of the water if they are unable to jump in/out. There is also a ramp that you can use. It will be left on the deck if you need it. The ramp is only for the dogs! Do not attempt to use it for yourself! *If your dog prefers the hose over the stock tank pool, there is a hose inside the fence that you can use. Please shut the water off when you're finished using it. *there is a water bowl with fresh water in front of the screened porch, as well as dog treats and bags. *there's a pooper scooper hanging on the fence. Please pick up after your dog(s). Bags provided as well as a large trash bag for you to dispose it in. *the screened porch door will be locked for our privacy. *no food or drinks other than a plastic bottle of water is permitted on the deck of the pool, or in the pool. *the gate will be unlocked. Just let yourselves in. *let us know if you have any questions before arriving or during your time!

We promise - We’ll reopen in December 2025. Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. You can cook, have a picnic, hang out in the woods (currently a burn ban no fires at this time but gas is fine) hang a hammock relax or walk around and explore. I allow my dog to swim in the pond that is at your own risk I would not personally swim in it as a human but I think dogs are fine to swim in there just be careful there are going to be ticks, wildlife and it is a very woodsy grassy environment, very nature outside oriented. Bug spray may be necessary. Hang out in the woods or by the field/pond. Bushcraft ok but no chopping down live trees. You can walk around the edge of the field or walk around a little bit in the woods there are no really long trails but there is plenty of area to hang out and explore. Play ball etc.
