55Our dogs love coming here! We will continue to visit at least once a month!
55It’s a private lot that has a fenced gate opening into a massive field, surrounded by woods and a couple of deer stands and a pond. There’s a few toys provided but with the massive amount of land, you don’t need any. All you need to bring is water and doggie bags. I have 5 working dogs that love to run and explore here. We saw a couple of turkeys this trip and some other wildlife but nothing dangerous. It has become a perfect weekend get away.
55Absolutely love this Sniffspot! The boys and I have been coming here for a couple of years now, and it continues to be a favorite. That said, the people who live next door to the Sniffspot have dogs that run loose fairly frequently. On a few of our recent visits, the dogs have chased and circled the car, and another time, they ran up to me while I was opening the gate. On our last visit, one of the dogs was inside the gate unattended sniffing by our car. One of my boys ran him back home without incident, but my other dog is reactive and isn’t their dogs’ biggest fan after the car/gate encounters. I’m not sure how much longer we’ll visit if the canine surprises continue, but by and large, this has been a great place for my dogs to roam and play.
55My dog absolutely loves this spot!
55It is just 50 acres of open land. There is no water, there is a pond but I wouldn’t let my dogs drink it. The center is open fields and the outer edges are woods. There are game paths all throughout and the woods are well maintained and clear. We will be coming back often. The dogs had a blast exploring and chasing down the wildlife. There were TONS of dragonflies and very few insects. It was peaceful also for me. You can’t hear the city or cars, it’s in a perfect area.

55This field of adventure is awesome for those who love hikes and trails! We didnt find the pond this time but we will next time. Pictures don't do this place justice and I only experienced an 1/8 of the sniffspot. Absolutely worth it and We will be back! **be sure to wear some light pants and boots or high top shoes for bugs and tall grass in some areas.**

Dec 1 2025 Update - Back Open! Oct 1 2025 Update - It’s hunting season, and we are closing October and November 2025 as a precaution. We don’t want a stray hunting dog to interfere with someone’s Sniffspot time. So we made the decision to close for 2 months. We’re sorry, it was a tough decision, but think it’s best. We promise - We’ll reopen in December 2025. Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. Enjoy!

This is the country!! Vacant, undeveloped land for adventurous pups only. We hope you explore off the beaten paths, through the woods. We have bugs so wear bug spray. We have mud, so wear hiking boots or muck boots after rain and always bring towels for your pups. This is the place where everyone gets a bit dirty. Always check for ticks after you play in the summer and fall(humans & pups)! Watch out for snakes or lizards or turtles, in the spring and summer you will see them! When the weather warms up you will see nature all around, please only book a time slot if you’re used to being outdoors.
