This is a wonderful spot to go to. Callie is currently going through training to help her socialize with dogs and this was a great get away. She was able to run and play without worry of other dogs around. I highly recommend and we will be coming back! Thank you!!
I've booked this Sniffspot a couple of times as we adore the location! I have a reactive farm dog that has unfortunately had to adjust to apartment living since we moved to Maine, so being able to have some land that reminds him of what he grew up around is ideal. Omar has always been a great host as well. He is communicative and keeps to himself if he's on property during your scheduled booking. The spot is extremely private, has some inclines here and there which is perfect to tire my dog out running up and down. Its a great spot to work on training as there are no triggers. I think I've seen turkeys once but they stay close to the border of the field. Definitely will continue booking this spot!
Host replied: Greetings Tania We welcome and excited that your visits have been enjoyable. We do have a couple turkey roosts so you were correct. The birds are brave but smart and tend to stay out of the way. Thank you for hour kind words and we look forward to you visiting again soon. HOH.
My favorite Sniffspot yet! It was so peaceful for my Husky mix rescue, who wandered and sniffed on his 30 foot lead to his hearts content! Omar, the owner, is an absolutely lovely human. He moved his car so I could drive to the exact spot (which isn’t far, but kind of him nonetheless). I asked him about wearing orange as it is hunting season, but he owns the land extending into the woods and it is posted also in several places so we felt very safe. I understand those who have written about the ticks, but my pupper is well protected and I had my lint brush (my vet said this is the best for tick removal) at the ready! The spot is very easy to travel to as well. We will most definitely return!
Host replied: Greetings Catherine Thank you so much for the kind words. We look forward to hosting you again real soon HOH
This spot was great! Huge field for the dogs to run and play in. It’s surrounded by trees, so not many distractions or things they can see from the spot.
Host replied: Greetings Kate Thank you for the kind words and we look forward to hosting you again HOH
Omar's spot in Freeport is fantastic for a sniff walk, long line work, as well as a lovely place to take in birds and the foliage. Our pup Ozzie really enjoyed walking about, exploring, and was relaxed. It was low stress for all knowing that we had the field to ourselves for the allotted time. Thank you Omar for making this available. Much appreciated!
Host replied: Greetings Leslie We are really happy that you and Ozzie enjoy your time here. Please come visit again soon. HOH
This was our first SniffSpot experience and it was lovely! Omar gave clear instructions, the location was easy to find and the dogs loved it. So many smells for our GSP and lots of space for our Aussie to roam. Overall a beautiful plot of land with no sounds other than Mother Nature! I felt really comfortable there and so did my reactive Aussie. Will definitely return!
We loved it here. Our first experience did not disappoint. Living inner city can be a challenge with making sure our girl can get out safely and enjoy exploring. Thank you for sharing this with us! We’ll be back :)
Host replied: Thank you and glad that you guys enjoyed it. HOH.
it’s was so nice!!!! we just moved up here and haven’t found a trustworthy place to let my dog roam. but this was the place for sure! with the warmer weather ticks are to be expected so double/triple check before leaving. otherwise it was a great area. met Omar too and he was wicked nice. def gonna come back soon!!!
My dogs had a blast here! They were able to roll in the grass, play fetch, and watch a variety of birds.
Great open field. If you are practicing recall or “leave it” this is the spot. We brought a ball and it was a great place to throw the ball around and get some energy out.

We expanded this space to make it twice as large and we’ve added new lights. Come hang out some evening. Our new night-time spot! These long cold winter nights make it hard to find a place to take your furry friends. Come visit our farm where we have a lit up, fenced play yard, glow in the dark collars to use, and lots of toys. For the people there are two 3 sided shelters with seating. Get out of the weather, charge your phone, have a free hot drink, rent a fire pit, and stay warm while your dogs play! You are also welcome to use this spot in the day-time! Just book the ZuZu’s Zoomie Acres location! This was we ensure we never double book in the day-time.
Welcome to our farm! We have 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1830 farmhouse and a big red barn. Bring your doggos to run and play off-leash in our fenced dog play yard! We may be closing the meadow on various days to do spring clean up and build some fun new things for the dogs and you! We do have two areas. A smaller area with shelter and taller fencing that is lit up at night. It can be used during the daytime as well. We created a second “location” because people were unaware of the night-time option. Please note the entire property is fenced and there is are two metal gates that you’ll need to open and close to enter the property and then the dog acreage. To access the fenced acre walk around the front of brick part of the house along the road and look for the metal gate. You can secure the gate with the chain and enjoy your visit!
We have a fully fenced area that has kids toys and is plenty big for dogs to run and play together. We also have 7+ acres of cleared woods that will offer lots of animal smells, jumping, and digging if you want to explore!
My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉
Fully fenced in yard with plenty of space for dogs to run and play. Plenty of chairs and a bench for owners to utilize to relax. Once the weather warms up the gazebo onsite will be the perfect place to get some shade stocked with drinks for owners and treats for dogs! An onsite doggy pool will also be provided weather permitting.
Welcome to our home. Please have fun and be respectful. We have seating available for your convenience. The perimeter is completely fenced in for a safe and fun area for your well loved dog(s)
Do you want to hike in the woods with your four legged friends without running into anyone? Or maybe you're working on offleash training and don't want distractions? Come hike our wooded 36 acres, or use our field!
Hello 👋 I am in and out of my home all day. Sometimes my dog Argo is outside and sometimes he's inside in his crate. I will have water and doggy bags so your dog can enjoy our yard drink some water and you can pick up their poop and put it in the trash with the blue bag. You're welcome to sit in the big cushion chairs while your dog runs around. My dog argo is friendly so if we're home we'll try playing if that's okay with you and if they aren't playing together nicely I can put Argo inside till you're done. My home is secured by ADT so do not attempt to enter home. sorry no public bathroom. The house and yard is also being recorded by video and audio footage at all times. Hope you and your dog can enjoy our yard and I'll try and have balls out there to throw but I swear they disappear into thin air.
This spot is dedicated to our fur babies! It’s the perfect spot to give high drive, high energy, high loving dogs and their humans a safe place to run, bark, learn, train, swim, sniff, relax and smile! It’s a great place to throw a tennis ball, swim, relax, read a book and walk the camp road.
