One side of the property borders a quiet neighborhood. Rarely seen neighbors and one known dog that is tied out. The other side borders the Smithfield Plantation, a 100 acre Town walking trail system.

Description

Hummingbird Hill Farm is a goat sanctuary with 50 acres. Our property has several walking trails with varied terrain, a small stream, small pond and wetland, and a wild area(no trail). Deer are present on the property on occasion. Always a chance to encounter (rarely) other smaller wildlife.

Walking trails are varied from fields and woods, uphills, downhills. Trail hazards range from uneven ground to exposed roots, possible fallen branches and some slippery areas. Property was logged 10 years ago, with new tree growth in many areas.

Welcome to Wilde Kind Farm! Bring your doggos to run and play off-leash in our 4 acres of fenced play yard! We have lots of space to explore, toys, cold drinks and lots of other amenities! We have 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1830 farmhouse and a big red barn. We have a couple areas for your to explore. A smaller area with shelter and taller fencing that is lit up at night. Or you can go through the gate to our "wilder" area to the left of the barn. Please note the entire SS accessible property is fenced. There is a driveway gate, and a second gate to enter our SniffSpot. To access the fenced acreage walk to the left of the Barn and look for the "Guest Entrance" sign on the gate.
