Owners are encouraged to use the appropriate area for their dogs. • The following dogs are not permitted at the dog park: o Aggressive dogs o Female dogs in heat o Puppies less than 4 months old o Sick or injured animals • Acts of aggression against other dogs or people are prohibited. It is the duty of the owner to remove their dog in the case of aggressive behavior. • Owners must dispose of waste properly in the designated on-site containers. • Owners must stop their dogs from digging and must fill any hole created by their dogs. • No smoking, eating, or glass containers are permitted in the dog park. No dog food, bones, or dog chews are permitted in the dog park. Bite-sized training treats are permitted as long as they are administered by the dog owner. • Strollers, bicycles, children's riding toys, and skateboards are not permitted in the dog park. • Professional dog trainers are not permitted to use the facility to conduct business unless prior approval is granted by Gaston County Parks and Recreation. • No more than three dogs per person are allowed on a single visit. • Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated for rabies and DHLPP. Current license and rabies tags must be worn on the dog's collar at all times. Prong and spike collars are not allowed inside the dog park area. • Owners are liable for any injury or damage caused by their dog and are fully responsible for their dog's actions. • Parks and Recreation staff have the authority to close the site for maintenance, weather-related problems, and special events. • North Carolina State Law requires all dog bites to be reported to Gaston County Animal Control at 704-922-8677. Dog Paradise in Northwest Charlotte

Fully Fenced
2 acres

**The pool is open for the season!** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool (unless you're actively helping or playing with them). Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself. Please see the amenities and access instructions portions of our profile for more information! We bought our property specifically for our own dogs to enjoy, so we know yours will love it too. We look forward to having you!

0.5 acres

Large private backyard in 28205 — a spacious in-city yard with mature oak trees providing shade across nearly half the property and open skyline views of downtown Charlotte.
