Welcome to our backyard dog park - the perfect spot for your furry friend to play and socialize! Our park features a secure, partially fenced area that allows your pup to roam free without any worries. With plenty of space to run and play, your dog will have a blast chasing after their favorite toys and making new friends. Whether you're looking for a place to bond with your pet or simply want to let them burn off some energy, our backyard dog park is the perfect destination. Yard comes completely fenced with a 6 foot vinyl privacy fence. Beyond the gate entrance is a smaller secondary wooden gate. The space between the initial vinyl gate and secondary wooden gate is the “holding” area incase your dog is misbehaving, needs to eat a snack, calm down from overstimulation, or get their leash back on to hop in the car for the ride home! I also have to 2 mini pigs (they do not get along with dogs and will not be allowed to interact but you are more than welcome to say hello to them when wrapping up your play time!!) There is dog toys every where. We have 2 to 4 kiddie pools cleaned daily. A fire pit a hammock a seating area, etc

Large 3+ acre maintained prairie backyard. Lots of room to run and play to tire your pups out! Space to sit under our shaded oak and watch your pups run. Shaded woods with carved out walking paths in the rear of the property. We have 2 cats who will stay out of your way, but we can do our best to bring them inside if requested. Neighbors (to the front of property, not visible from yard) have a fenced in yard with 3 dogs, as well we are next to a neighborhood - other dogs may be heard from the yard. We are a small family of 3 with no dogs of our own. We are very happy to welcome you and your fur babies to our slice of paradise!

My house sits on 2.5 acres with family as neighbors. Grassy area with some trees. There are water hoses for water for your dog.

Every spot is very unique which is the fun part of Sniffspot. We want visitors to have clear expectations before their first visit; this is why we provide so much detail in the description. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions, so we can ensure you have the best visit possible. Parking: Please park in the gravel driveway, not the concrete driveway. Do not park in the grass as it becomes damaged over time. If you arrive early, feel free to hang out on the swing next to the gravel driveway. Chain Link Gate Entrance: Walk down the gravel driveway to access the chain link gate entrance. Next to the man gate, there are water canteens, water bowl, dog toys, dog towels, bug spray, white bucket for trash, and dog treats majority of the time. We do our best to keep the water canteens at the entrance full with water. The only water hose to refill water canteens or rinse your dog off is at the house. There is a water hose on a reel at the front and back of the house. At the entrance, we have a solar light which only lights up the entrance. If you are comfortable being on the property past sunset, head lamps and flashlights can be provided. We will leave the outside house lights on which provides light in the back yard but not the whole property. Also, if you turn your car headlights on, the lights point directly at the field providing some light. Nature: 3 sides of the property run parallel to a creek and woods, so you might see critters (i.e. turtles, snakes, deer, raccoons, birds, crawdads, ants, etc.). Closed toe shoes are a good idea to wear. In the wooded section, there are wood chips, so they easily get caught in flip flops. Open Field: There is a large open field when you first walk through the man gate. In the field, there is a metal glider, two metal chairs, two swing chairs, and table. There is a dome climber play center for kids and a trampoline. Dogs and kids are welcome to jump on the trampoline. (Note: There is no longer a safety net around the trampoline.) The open field holds water after a good rain. We put straw down to help prevent mud. Woods: Towards the back of the property behind the house, there is 2.3 acres of open space with plenty of shade from the mature trees with two hammocks and a fire pit. If the field is wet, we suggest hanging out behind the house in the woods. The ground is always more dry. House: Our house is located on the property within the fenced in area. During visits, we always stay indoors with our dogs with the blinds closed to give guests their privacy. If we happen to arrive from work or errands during a visit, we park at the end of the driveway and walk through the driveway gate straight to the house. We try to message our guests ahead of time if we might arrive during visiting hours. If your dog is reactive to strangers, we certainly appreciate a message stating that, so we can plan better. Creek/Kiddie Pool: To the right of the large open field, there is another man gate that provides access to a creek. The creek is not fenced in but is on our property. The creek has a small sandy beach for digging, two lounging chairs, and a small table. Our dogs swim in the creek almost every day. We keep a long orange leash at the creek gate in case your dog wants to enjoy the creek but has selective listening skills. The leash is long enough for the dog to get in the creek while the owner stands on the bank. (Note: The previous owners buried their trash for years on the creek bed. We are in the process of cleaning it up. The section that has trash is barricaded off with black netting, so dogs can't access the area with glass, metal, etc.) We understand some people don't want their dogs swimming in the creek. We have a kiddie pool, 30 gal black plastic stock tank, and splash pad available during warmer months. The water hose is on a hose reel at the back of the house. Feel free to fill it up with water for your dogs to cool off. Neighbors: We have neighbors that have indoor dogs. Our fences do not touch at all. However, when their dogs are outside in their fenced in back yard, they can see visitors at the main entrance. The neighbor's dogs will bark out of excitement when they see visitors. If you walk back further on the property, they can't see you and won't bark. If your dogs are reactive to the sight or sound of other dogs, this spot might not be the best fit for your dogs. Lastly, we have a neighbor across the creek and through the woods with a rooster. The rooster can't be seen but can be heard at times.

**The pool is open for the 2024 season!** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool unless you are actively helping/playing with your dog. Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself. Cute little backyard for your fur baby to run around in. Also, welcome to sit on screened in porch to watch your fur babies. Lots of parking on side road since house is a corner lot.

Our fully fenced in yard is perfect for a pup playdate! The fence is solid so there are no visuals of other dogs. The ground is flat and there is access to a large hill outside of the fence for some on leash fun. There is a large tree for shade during the summer or your pup can cool down under the raised deck. Driveway parking is available and there is a hose connection and trash can on the way to the fence gate. Fostering? Frolic for free! Just send us a message to set up your visit. Note there are cats in the home who may peek out the window to see what's going on!
