We have a 5 acre OFF LEASH area available, and an ON LEASH walking trail in the back of our property. We are pleased to invite you and your dog to our lovely fully fenced in area on our 12 acre property in the countryside of Montpelier, VA. 30 min from downtown Richmond, VA - come escape to the quiet and tranquil area we have set up and fenced off for dogs. An additional nature area for walking is available in the back; however, dogs MUST be leashed in this area, as it is not fully fenced back there. Walking trails have been cut and wildlife is often seen in our little sanctuary. Please be mindful of neighbors and leave the area as you found it. Be sure to close ALL gates before you leave & please pick up after your pet. Thank you! *No smoking while on premise, please and thank you!* Please practice Leave No Trace.

It has everything a pup could ask for: an open clearing for zoomies or game of fetch, shady woods and nooks and crannies to investigate, SO MANY critter sniff trails, and dirt, leaves and grass to dig in! It's also a great space for humans of all sizes to explore! You can even try your hand at a game of bocci ball while you're here in our gravel court! (Feel free to move our weed tarp out of the way if you want to play). Easy side-street parking on Kamankeag makes accessing the yard through the back gate a piece of cake! *OUR FENCING IS NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY SMALL DOGS OR ESCAPE ARTISTS.*

There are also plenty of sticks to chew and squirrels to chase! For human guests. We’ve got everything you need to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Outdoor chairs, a fan, a hammock, shade, sun, bug spray, poop bags, and speaker are all provided. Our neighborhood is known for its tranquility and we respect your privacy. **Just a friendly reminder: please don’t jump on the trampoline.** Here are some additional details about our yard: - Private gate entrance and ample space to spread out. - Our dog stays indoors and won’t be a nuisance during your visit. - Friendly neighbor dogs next door can be heard but not seen.
