This tour requires a bit of physical fitness as we walk the Eastern Bluebird Trail, through the 7 acres of native prairie restoration, and take in the views from up above the farm. There is tall grass, uneven terrain, and hills throughout the tour. Host will share about the native plants, the prairie restoration, pollinators, Eastern Bluebirds, Monarchs, and more. Date and time to be discussed prior to booking.

Cool place! We loved it.
Beautiful property with tons of space for running! My dog had a blast with all the open space and new smells. The pastures had a secure fence so we were able to work on off leash & recall training in a new place (: Barrie also had tons of toys, a long lead, treats and water available!
Being the first spotters to visit, this property is still in its evolutionary stages. Even at its bare minimum, it was wonderful property to explore. We chose the open space area that was ~7 fenced acres split between many conjoined pastures. Lots to sniff and plenty long stretches of open grass to rip around. This is on a farm so we could see and smell animals but they're at quite a distance. There was horse poop (which we were forewarned about) so wear boots. Dress like you're going to an operating farm because you are. In warm February, there wasn't much mud or water. There are gaps under the pasture gates but perimeter fencing goes to the ground. Host was nice and enthusiastic about future offerings. She gave clear instructions and communicated easily. She brought us a bin of dog essentials. Was an easy 45 min shot up I75 from Detroit . I'll be back and can't wait too what the future brings to dogwood
