I have a very large back yard with a pavilion for shade or rain shelter my backyard does have pond and when it’s full it’s great for swimming!! There is also access to run around the pond! So your doggies can burn some energy off! The house is located far enough away from the backyard that you will not see any people or pets! There is a separate driveway that brings you to the backyard with plenty of space to park. There is a chain swing under the pavilion chairs and a table. There is also a picnic table located in the field. The fire hydrant that is placed in the field is just for looks and a funny place for your dog to lift his leg!!

There is a dog on site if you’re looking for doggy playtime and someone to run with- or you can venture alone with a small amount of notice. This site also hosts two pet-friendly forest Airbnb’s though it’s not usual to run into others. There is a small-ish vernal pond (usually stays somewhat full all year) at the bottom of the property if you’re looking to play in the mud- if not it’s easy to avoid. There are penned chickens in a coop at the main dwelling.

The forest is natural and undeveloped, with no maintained trails or paths, making it perfect for dogs and owners who enjoy exploring the woods and a more rustic outdoor experience. Guests have access to a designated portion of our private pond, including a picnic table, an additional table with chairs, and a fire pit near the water. Firewood is available for purchase, and we can also provide a charcoal grill upon request. Please note that the entire pond is not part of the Sniffspot. The property owners and other guests may occasionally use a separate area of the pond/property outside of the designated Sniffspot area. The property is not fenced, so we recommend a long leash for dogs without reliable recall.
