Description

Located in Warren, just under 30 minutes from Plymouth, and minutes away from the Baker River and other lovely walks and attractions, is 29 acres of private trails and bushwhacking, backed by conservation (also great bushwhacking!) and National Forest after that. There is a dog on site if you’re looking for doggy playtime and someone to run with- or you can venture alone with a small amount of notice. This site also hosts two pet-friendly forest Airbnb’s though it’s not usual to run into others. There is a small-ish vernal pond (usually stays somewhat full all year) at the bottom of the property if you’re looking to play in the mud- if not it’s easy to avoid. There are penned chickens in a coop at the main dwelling.

Additional rules

Please head out to the back of the yard and into the woodland area. Behind the property there is 90 acres of conservation that is available for people to wander- but that doesn’t have trails. Do not walk dogs around any structures out in the woods (excepting the screened-in Gazebo), as there are Airbnbs on the land. Simply walk past those places and don’t interact with guests/keep dogs away from other guests. Trails are open for dog walking all year but they are not plowed in winter. Please keep dogs away from the main residence a much as possible as there are chickens in the coop. There is a dog on premises who is very friends to both dogs and people. Please move all poop off trail. Do not leave poop bags in the forest and please take them with you. It’s okay if dog poop is left in the forest, so long as it is left out of a plastic bag and off trail. If you have COMPOSTABLE poop bags there is a compost bin on the way out- please just ask where it’s located and you will be able to leave it there in a compostable bag.
