It’s a place where dogs get to be dogs. If your dog lives in an apartment or condominium, is traveling through the Greensboro area, or simply needs a safe place to stretch those legs and enjoy some real off-leash freedom, you’ve found it. We also welcome families looking for a private place where children and dogs can safely enjoy time together. Bring a friend. Pack a picnic. Grab your favorite chair and relax while the dogs run themselves silly. 🐾 Over Half an Acre Fenced — Surrounded by 5½ More Acres of Peace Our private playground is a little more than ½ acre, fully enclosed with silver chain-link fencing, with another 5½ acres surrounding it for privacy and serenity. This isn't just a little yard beside our house. Your dog gets a field, garden areas, trees, paths and plenty of interesting places to investigate. Let them run through the field. Let them sniff every plant. Let them race through the garden rows. And yes—let them dig! We don't mind. There are smells to investigate, places to explore and plenty of room for a good case of the zoomies. Our field is mowed weekly, but this is real country property—not artificial turf or a perfectly manicured lawn. You may find bare spots, dirt, leaves, sticks and, occasionally, a little something another four-legged visitor left behind before we found it. That's okay. Dogs aren't looking for perfection. They're looking for adventure. 🐕 Big Dogs. Little Dogs. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. There is something here for dogs of every size. We share a fence line with our neighbors, who have two small dogs who may occasionally come out to say hello or run the fence. Their appearance can't be guaranteed, but some of our regular guests actually look forward to seeing them! If your dog is reactive, please talk with us before booking. Depending on your dog's particular needs, we may be able to make accommodations so everyone can have a comfortable visit. 💦 Run. Splash. Sniff. Dig. Repeat. Water-loving dogs can enjoy our puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant, with an outdoor water spigot conveniently available. And when everyone needs a break, there are plenty of places to settle in. You'll find comfortable seating throughout the property, including our much-loved glider in the shade, cushioned benches, hammock, zero-gravity recliner, pillows and even a lounging blanket. Find your favorite spot and stay awhile. 🌻 Everything Begins at the Sunflower She Shed The Sunflower She Shed is your home base while you're here. Start your visit there—you'll find what you need for your adventure, including special treats for your pup. Outside is an 8-foot covered porch with a fan, and inside you'll find a comfortable heated and air-conditioned room with a refrigerator and microwave. We take care of the dogs, but we haven't forgotten their people. Cold drinks, snacks and frozen treats are available for purchase in the She Shed refrigerator and freezer. Grab something cold—or make yourself comfortable with a hot drink—and enjoy your time away from everything. 🔒 Completely Private Means Private. One thing you won't find at Sweetwater Court is a camera watching you. We have no cameras in our private playground. Your privacy matters to us. During your reservation, we want you to relax and enjoy the property without feeling like anyone is watching. And as far as we're concerned... Your Dog Can Do Nothing Wrong Here. ❤️ Dig. Bark. Sniff. Run. Splash. Roll in the grass. Get dirty. Play. This is their time. And maybe yours, too. 📍 Conveniently Country Sweetwater Court feels tucked away, but we're surprisingly easy to reach in Southern Guilford County, approximately 2 miles from Interstates 85 and 73 and about 5 miles from Wendover Avenue. Book one dog bring as many as 15. We will have the Birthday decorations for you to make pictures, dog birthday cake and party favors and quality treat bags for all dogs. All dogs vet records must be provided. We provide whip cream and cups. The dual double gated entry will keep all dogs in the playground while others enter. Come Celebrate. We promise to make it festive. We must have 2 days notice for this extra.

We recommend booking 2 hours for this visit.

Hidden treats within the field and garden. This is our number one request. Let your pups sniff out quality treats throughout the field and gardens. You can track or help them find them. Spoiler alert. There is always treats hidden on the dog house.

SNIFFARI Scavenger Hunt15 credits

The # 1 most requested extra. 4 Special treats broken up will be hidden around the perimeter of the Playground allowing your dog to “Sniff them out”. On this SNIFFARI Adventure. There will also be a few other treats hidden in the garden area. Let your furbaby go wild searching. It has been a HUGE hit for everyone who has tried it. Also ADD a bone marrow bone extra and we will let you hide it once your pup is on the hunt.

Additional rules

We do require a copy of your dogs vaccination records before visiting. For vaccinations, we require that all visiting dogs have current DHPP or DA2PP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus) and rabies vaccines. We also recommended flea and parasite preventative. Please post your records with your reservation or you can email me [email protected] or text a picture of them to me 336-382-1719. Thank you for your understanding. You are allowed to smoke or vape on the property. We will gladly provide an ashtray for you if needed. Please be sure to extinguish your cigarette thoroughly. Once inside the fenced area, please insure the gates are closed and locked. This is for you and your dog’s protection. Children are Welcome. They are welcome to use hammock when accompanied by an adult. The property is not level, please watch your step.

🌻 We’re Not Your Typical Dog Park — And That’s the Point. If you’re looking for an ordinary dog park, we’re probably not it. Sweetwater Court was created because we genuinely love dogs. I’ve had multiple dogs my entire life, and I know how wonderful it is to watch a dog run, sniff, explore, play—and finally head home completely worn out and happy. We opened our private playground because we wanted other dogs to have the same kind of freedom and fun that our own dogs have always enjoyed. Here, the playground is yours during your reservation. Your dog can explore, play, sniff, run and simply be a dog in a safely fenced space—without the crowds and unpredictability of a traditional dog park. And while your dog is having the time of their life, you get to relax, too. Children are welcome. Bring the family, find your favorite seat, enjoy the gardens and peaceful surroundings, and unwind. We want Sweetwater Court to feel less like renting a patch of grass and more like visiting a little country retreat that happens to have been designed with dogs in mind. 🐾 And Yes… We Like to Spoil Our Guests. Tell us what makes your dog happy. We’ll do everything we can to make their visit special. Every guest should begin their adventure at the Sunflower She Shed. Inside, you’ll find the things you may need during your visit—along with quality treats waiting for your pup. And we haven’t forgotten the humans! Refreshments are available for purchase inside the She Shed, including sodas, bottled water, Yoo-hoo, hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate. 🌻 One Thing You Won’t Find Here: Cameras. It may sound unusual these days, but there are no cameras in our private dog playground. That is intentional. When you reserve Sweetwater Court, we want you to have the same privacy we would want for ourselves. Relax. Play with your dog. Let the kids be silly. Sit quietly under a tree. Take a hundred pictures—or don't take any. Your time here is your time. The wonderful photos and videos you may see of our visiting dogs were voluntarily shared with us by their families, usually by text. We love seeing those happy faces, but your private visit remains just that—private. Most of all, we want you to leave Sweetwater Court with a tired dog, a happy heart, and the feeling that you discovered someplace a little different. Come play. Explore. Unwind. Let us spoil your dog a little. 🌻🐾

Dogs are allowed to jump in but must use steps or ramp to get out. READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK! Proof of your dog's current vaccines plus what flea and tick preventative they're on is required to be sent to me when you book a reservation!! NO exceptions!! Rabies & Bordatella are Required! If you don't have your dog up to date on these two vaccines and have them on a monthly flea and tick preventative do not book a reservation!! Thank you for your service & sacrifice!! 🇺🇸🎗️ This is a completely privacy fenced area with deck, patio, sunroom and an 18x36 in-ground saltwater pool. You & your dog can swim & play together safely and securely in the pool Kiddie pool is also available for dogs who are unsure about the "Big" pool - set up, fresh water, and cleaning afterwards for a small extra fee. Choose this in the Extras section. Doggy life jackets in Small, Medium, Large, and XL are provided. Please hang them up to dry after use. Plenty of seating and shade available. Mini fridge with cold bottled water for only $1 each located in the sunroom (choose this in the Extras section). Fun Dog water toys, dog life jackets in all sizes, dog towels, dog pool floats, water bowls and pool ramp available to use at no extra charge. Please bring your own sunscreen. NOTE: Sorry, no bathroom is available for humans as I may not always be home... Dogs MUST be current on their Rabies vaccine & Bordatella vaccines and be on some sort of flea & tick preventative!! Proof of this is required to be sent to me before your visit!! Screenshots are accepted. Poop bags & clean-up station provided near the gated entrance. All owners must pick up after their dogs in and out of the pool area!! Violators will not be allowed to return. There are security cameras on the premises. Max of two people (adults) per dog unless otherwise arranged with Host. Thus is not a pool party spot for humans! The pool is mainly for dogs. Unfortunately, NO children under the age of 16 permitted IN the pool due to liability reasons unless pre-approved ! If you are bringing a child with you, they can sit on the side of the pool or in a chair and watch the dogs swim. They are NOT allowed in the pool under any circumstances unless pre-approved by me in advance!! If You are bringing more than one dog, they must already know each other and get along! It is highly recommended that you brush your dog before your visit. If excessive fur in the filter becomes a problem then this sniff spot will unfortunately no longer be available.
