Description

The Magic Land Homestead is a 70 acre provate retreat space with 2 Airbnb rentals a treehouse and an A-Frame. We chickens, turkey and geese so be sure your dog is foul safe or would need to be leashed. The lake and open field and mostly away from the foul but they are free range so could be anywhere. We have guests who stay and typically would not allow bookings of strange dogs during their stay. That means 70 acres mostly alone. I also drive a tractor and mow on certain days, otherwise it's very peaceful and quiet. We have 4 dogs of our own who will need to be contained during your visit as they are a pack and usually don't like other dogs.

Be vaccinated there are wild animals in the woods Dog must be foul friendly as we have free range chickens, geese and turkey (geese are not at the Lake). If you don't know assume your dogs prey drive will eliminate an animal in a split second. Be sure your dog has excellent recall. 70 acres of woods is not fun to chase a dog and our property has some barbed wire fencing but not all the way around and it definitely will not keep dogs in. Missouri has poisonous snakes, lots of ticks, chiggers and wild animals. Prepare for your dogs well being. Wear bug spray and check yourself and your dog after their visit. There is a dock at the lake for dogs that dive and swim and the lake has a picnic area but isn't mowed all the way around the lake. We are not responsible for the water quality. The creek has water in rainy seasons and is rock based. You'll drive past my neighbors cows but they are not visible on the property. There is also a small natural spring pool by the creek that is unfrozen year round.

There are two different fenced in areas. One side is much bigger than the other. When pulling into driveway there will be one of the two gates to access the back yard. One of the gates is a wooden gate (does not latch easy) this is for the smaller fenced in area. If it’s the larger fenced area you want then you will pull into driveway and walk around the garage to the left hand side to where a chain link fence will be to the larger fenced in area.
