55This was our first sniff spot experience and it couldn’t have been any better. Kathy was there to greet us and show us the ropes. The pond was fantastic, even a duck visit us. The back field was amazing. We couldn’t cover it all in our hour. We will definitely be back!!
55An amazing spot to go to! I was worried about my husky getting through the fence, but he was fine! And totally enjoyed his time. There’s benches all around the area, and garbages. And the bath was really convenient afterwards! Kathy was really professional and helpful! Definitely recommend.

We had 1.5 hr drive for a special day trip and it was worth it for two dogs that love to run and jump in the water but reactive to other dogs close by. If your dog is at just the right spot along the fence, they could potentially see someone at entrance to other field about 20 ft away but other than that there's much more distance between play areas. Field and pond are beautiful and well maintained. Several comfortable seating options and dog cleanup stations scattered throughout. Owner comes out to situate you first time which is great so you don't have to wonder if you're doing the gate wrong or anything. We will definitely make another trip out hopefully in next couple months. What lucky dog owners that live nearby!

Greetings! Thank You for the reservation, nice to meet you! Welcome to Southern Lancaster County PA! IMPORTANT: **This SniffSpot is a designated FEAR FREE ZONE. What this means for pet parents/guardians is that NO AVERSIVE TRAINING EQUIPMENT OR AVERSIVE TRAINING PRACTICES can be used during your visit to this property. **Absolutely NO FIRST TIME INTRODUCTIONS for dogs are to be done on the property. If you are inviting additional dog friends, they must already have an established relationship with your dog/dogs. Below are the guidelines for visiting my spots: IMPORTANT CHANGES: **As of November 28th, 2023 an additional 5 fenced acres has been added to this spot. **I have implemented new safety protocols for visiting the property. You will now find a sign hanging on the gate to the area. On one side it states OPEN, on the other side IN USE. Please flip the sign when entering the area to IN USE and return it to OPEN when you leave (it swivels). Additionally, you will find a snap attached to a small chain hanging at the latch level on the inside. Please place the snap on the inside pin to secure the gate. Please message me if you have questions. 1. Please message me if you are unable to keep your reservation and if additional people will be visiting with you. 2. You are a guest on Private Property. You have reserved and have permission to access "The Pond" area ONLY. 3. PLEASE NOTE: This SniffSpot is a designated FEAR FREE ZONE. Aversive training equipment includes: ELECTRIC COLLARS, PINCH COLLARS, AND CHOKE COLLARS. Muzzles and dogs appropriately acclimated to muzzles are welcome. Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.

I am a lifetime dog guardian and lover. I currently share my home with my husband, 5 shelter dogs, 35 chickens, and 5 sheep. I have experience with all creatures great and small. I have a 30 year career in pharmacy, 8 years experience as a veterinary technician, and a lifetime of caring for animals. I've worked with shelter dogs for 12 years and have experience with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I am also a Peaceable Paws Affiliate and will complete my PMCT (Pat Miller Certified Trainer) credential in 2022.
