Greetings.....I am extremely excited to open my fenced in backyard. I am 64 and retired. After having animals my whole life I find myself with an amazing almost 1 acre 5ft fenced yard and no pup to enjoy it. This gives me the opportunity to give back and allow dogs that for whatever reason to come here, be off leash and run free for an hour or two.

Welcome to our peaceful dog-friendly retreat! We offer a fully fenced 1,500 sq. ft. backyard plus 2 open acres out front for dogs who love to run, explore, and burn off energy. Located in a very quiet neighborhood, our space is perfect for training, sniffing, and free play. A private, fully fenced area in southern Lancaster County. There are trees for shade and plenty of room for running and playing! I have two of my own dogs that use the space, but I will ensure my dogs cannot enter the yard during visits. All guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and respecting the space. If you choose to use the kiddie pool, there is no need to empty it after your visit. I will empty and clean the pool for the next visitor! *kiddie pool is closed for the winter*

Playful Pups Retreat SniffSpot Play Yard
Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE.
