We have a little under an acre of land for your pup(s) to roam. Lots of space to toss a ball, play, run, and sniff. We have multiple gardens, several trees, a playhouse, playground with slide, firepit, stacked wood, a compost pile, a greenhouse & shed, a sandbox (please don’t allow dog to pee or poop here) and a little dome made out of sticks. We have a covered back porch with chairs and also chairs by the firepit. There’s a patio umbrella up on the porch in case it rains. We have a small patch of open dirt that pups can dig in. There is a hose with a filter if pup needs water. We can provide a poop bag if you need one, but would prefer you bring your own. We can provide hand sanitizer for guests. The only Sniffspot in Indiana with a climate-controlled indoor play room. 🐾 I created this spot for pups who just deserve a safe place to run, play, and relax with their favorite humans. Please note: Maximum of 2 people per dog (Exceptions can be made for adoption meet & greets and immediate families — message me with any questions!) Our indoor space is ready for year-round fun, and the backyard is packed with agility equipment, enrichment activities, toys, and activities you won’t find anywhere else. It has not bothered most reactive dogs that visit. If their dogs become noisy, she is usually very kind about bringing them inside. Once inside the yard, there is no direct fence-line contact. This space is dedicated to my soul dog, Tucker, who crossed the rainbow bridge far too soon. 🌈🐾This would have been his dream yard. **construction notice: our road is closed just east of our house. You can only access our driveway from the west. You will have to drive around road closed signs to get here. ** Enjoy a fully fenced spot (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing), run through mowed grass, tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Wildlife may be encountered (deer, squirrels, crawfish, muskrats, many birds and snapping turtles). **Note: I didn’t want to claim the site as accessible as it is grass and some uneven ground, but feel free to reach out if you need an accommodation to access the spot and we can discuss what is possible** We welcome all.
