Large yard with a secure privacy fence and lots of beautiful landscaping. Very well maintained. We were so excited when we got there and there were treats, water, and hand sanitizer ready and available. The owner also puts a sign on her fence welcoming guests, which was a much appreciated touch as we've felt a little awkward on first visits to other SniffSpots in the past not knowing for certain where to enter or if the owner actually saw our reservation. There were lots of exciting smells from other pets and many plants which was lots of great mental enrichment for our pup. If you have a pup that likes to eat plants, I would proceed with caution here as I'm not sure how many of the plants here are pet safe. The owner has an adorable cat that likes to watch over the backyard from the back door, which did pose a little bit of an issue for our curious pup. Overall, our pup is tired and happy and we are pleased with our visit!

What a great Sniffspot! Easy to get to and safe. The personalized welcome sign is a great touch, I felt invited and not at all like I was in a stranger’s yard! Lol! My dog enjoyed exploring through all corners of the yard and the complimentary treats left by the host :) it was about half shaded and half sunny in the morning which was perfect, and the deck was so cute, a nice spot to relax and let your dog explore by themselves. Fence is fully secure which is reassuring. We’ll definitely make this a regular spot!

This was our first time using SniffSpot and we are so happy with this location! Beautiful yard for our boys to run and play with areas for us to sit and relax. There is a dog that lives at the property that was a little vocal when we first arrived, but he was not visible from the yard or vocal the whole time so our reactive pup was still able to enjoy himself. There is a fire a pit to be aware of if you have a pup with tendencies to eat things they aren't supposed to, but our boys were too busy playing to notice it much. We came on a very hot day and were happy to find that the yard is very well shaded and there is a hose for water and to cool off with. The yard was pretty well maintained and had a couple of toys to play with, although we brought our own. We all had such a nice time! We love that this spot is still in Indy so it's not a far drive for us since we live in the city. We will definitely be returning!

This was a wonderful spot right in the city for me and my dog Sunny. The yard is fenced and has a lot of space for running around, sniffing and training. The chain link fence separates from the neighbors who let their dogs out part of the time. Sunny got some extra fence running in while they played through the fence. With a reactive dog, I felt this was great because it kept all dogs safe. Great communication with the hosts and everything was as described in the post. We will absolutely be returning.

Great spot! Large, flat, well maintained yard with plenty of room for fetch or multiple dogs to play. Really close to interstate and convenient. Fence very secure, looked good for reactive dogs as fences had spacers and didn’t look like there was a chance for fence fighting even if dogs were in adjacent lots. Interstate noise can be heard but not really seen. Planes fly over frequently due to airport proximity. Great communication from host and great to have a nice spot in Indy!!

FAQ about our Indianapolis dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Indianapolis area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
