Owners of small dogs may want to be careful near the gates as the openings are large enough for small dogs to get through.

Off leash is fine as long as your friend has good recall. Our dogs have their own fenced yards up at the houses. Our property borders a riding stable on one side, so you may see horses and riders. On the other side of the property is a shooting range (about a mile away) so if your pooch is gun shy be aware you could hear shots.

This is not a good place for aggressive dogs for this reason, and because our neighbors have a dog (visible through the fence). Guests may park in the horseshoe circle drive in front of the house (please don't block the driveway to the garage) and let themselves into the back yard using the wrought iron gate next to the garage and trash cans.
