Description

Welcome to our secluded 1.25-acre dog haven in the heart of the High Valley neighborhood of Issaquah, a perfect retreat for your furry friend to play and explore. Enclosed by cedar fencing and thick, natural vegetation, our property offers a safe and private off-leash experience for your dog to roam freely. Your adventure begins with a serene walk through the woods, leading you up the hill. The road less traveled ensures a quiet and peaceful journey to our secluded haven. Behind our home, you'll find an expansive wooded area ripe for exploration, extending the adventure into the lush surroundings of Squak Mountain State Park Natural Area. Here, a myriad of hiking trails await, serving as a natural extension of your dog’s off-leash escapade. Our terrain is rich with the rugged beauty of nature, featuring uneven ground with rocks and grass tufts—ideal for explorative paws. We recommend donning your best outdoor shoes for the climb, ensuring both you and your pup have a comfortable and safe visit. For moments of rest and relaxation, enjoy our front yard's picnic table, where you can sit back and marvel at the joy of your dog at play. Upon request, we’re delighted to set up a dog pool, adding a splash of fun to your dog’s day out. Parking is convenient on the gravel side of the street, from where you'll embark on foot to our secluded paradise. Our location, while easily accessible, feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle, offering a tranquil escape for dogs and owners alike. Join us for a day filled with exploration, relaxation, and endless fun for your furry family member. Our Sniffspot is more than just a dog park—it’s a nature retreat where your dog can truly be free.

Hazards

Please note, our natural terrain includes uneven ground with rocks and grass tufts, making navigation tricky in places. The property is on a hill, requiring a climb that can be challenging without the right footwear. We recommend sturdy, outdoor shoes for all our human visitors. While the area is securely fenced with cedar and bordered by thick vegetation, the terrain's wild nature means it's essential to keep a close eye on your pups to ensure they navigate safely. The proximity to Squak Mountain State Park Natural Area also means wildlife encounters are possible, so please be mindful and keep your dogs under control at all times

Hello, fellow dog lovers! I'm a passionate outdoor enthusiast and a devoted dog parent, living in the beautiful landscape of Issaquah. My love for nature and our furry friends has inspired me to open up my property to dogs who want to explore, play, and simply be dogs in their natural element. Growing up in the Midwest, I've always felt a deep connection to the outdoors. It's where I feel most at peace and alive. This connection has grown stronger over the years, especially when shared with the company of dogs.
