Hello and welcome to Stump Town! This is our first time being a Sniffspot host and we hope you enjoy your time here. Things to note!!!! We will be closed the first 2 weeks of October for friends & family that are staying with us. - This used to be an old goat/chicken pen. The dirt is infused with the flavor of goat 💩! If you think your furry pet is a poop eater this may not be the best spot for you. While we have cleaned much of it it can still be tasty to some dogs! - The stall mats can get very hot. Have your dogs step onto the dirt or mulch when leashing up. - The terrain is on a slant, with dips and a mix of grass, dirt, and mulch. Please wear good shoes. - Please CHECK TRAFFIC! Weekday rush hour or weekend highway detours may impact your arrival! - This may not be the best spot for dogs under 20lbs. There are some spots in the fence they could shimmy under or at the gates. We hope you enjoy your time here! We have toys, water, and other necessities. As a reactive dog owner myself I understand how hard it can be to find a private space. Our yard is very secluded. You may on occasion hear the neighbors small dog but shouldn't see her. We have a privacy screen up but do not share the fence line directly with the neighbors.

*fall/winter update* During the month of October we host a pumpkin patch every weekend and must close the Sniffspot for everyone’s safety. If you are a member please contact us if you aren’t available during the week to use your time. Well socialized pups are always welcome at the patch. 🎃 We have various levels of flooding during the winter; the spot has is anticipated to have mud and large puddles. At times we may need to close the spot due to excessive flooding (no dry land!). Please reach out if you have questions about how much water is in the spot. Keep in mind we also have increased migratory waterfowl in the pasture adjacent. We have new neighbors at the west end of the pasture. Please be aware there may be construction during your visit, we apologize for any inconvenience. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing (a very small dog may be able to get out). We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have a dog ‘Veles’ that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. An outdoor bathroom is available for use, see map. When using the bathroom please keep your pup in your car as it is near our goats and free range chickens. Please park in barked spot at the end of the drive. Gate is directly across from the barked spot. Our property is hilly and you will need to walk up a hill to access spot.

3.3 fenced acres- seasonal steam and pond-dry June- August-trails below to hike- grass hill above for ball. FYI To access trails below there is a short steep hill- 25ft-or can drive and park below- there are areas with blackberries and nettles adjoining trails below. Also horses and sheep may be occasionally be visible from back portion of property.

We have a +beautiful +6 acre land close to the mountains and inside a private neighborhood with lakes and full of hiking and unexplored places to go. Wild nature in it fullest. Come and enjoy a quiet place while eating blueberries.

I have a beautiful yard for your dogs to romp around in! All I ask, is that you try and keep them out of my garden beds. Thanks and enjoy!

Hello and welcome to our Sniffspot! This is our first time being a Sniffspot host and we hope you enjoy your time here. It's a large, open one acre pasture with plenty of room to run and play. Tall fir trees, farmland and single family homes surround the property. Double gated entrance for security. Park along the fence on the gravel drive. Plenty of room for your pup to enjoy the zoomies! A few things below to note, thank you! * due to the burn ban, wildland fires and the dryness of our land, we ask for no smoking on the property at this time, thank you *please note: this pasture was used for a month (June 2023) by our goats & chickens and so the dirt in areas may be infused with the flavor of goat. While we have cleaned much of it, it can still be tasty to some dogs so wanted you to be aware * The terrain of the pasture does have some dips and there is a section of mown grass, as well as a portion of long pasture grass, and sticks from the fir trees. Wearing solid shoes will help you navigate the land. *There are three chickens on a neighboring fence line and the gate to their henhouse yard has a sign (don't let the chickens out, no matter what they say), as well as a secure gate latch plus bungee cord. They will stay on the far side of their yard, and hide under the shrub/tree cover so are usually not be visible from the Sniffspot pasture, but wanted to share in case this is bothersome to some pup guests. * September may be too late in the season, but if you are interested, please do give us advance notice (3+hours) if you would like the small plastic kiddie pool filled prior to your arrival. It is a large space fully fenced. You are required to clean up after yourself and leave personal items alone

2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

This is my own home with a large backyard and spacious front yard. Your dog will enjoy sniffing. Please pick up poop and put in the black trash on your way out? Water bowl near the front gate. If empty (possibly due to crows) feel free to use hose to fill it up again. If I am not home, my dog will be inside. If I am home and your dog wants a friend to play for big, happy to bring my pup outside too. Enjoy your visit!
