Whether your dog enjoys running across open fields, exploring wooded areas, or playing in the water, this space offers plenty of room for adventure. We’re just about 10 minutes from East Lansing downtown, yet the setting feels quiet and secluded — a little countryside escape for both dogs and their humans. They can also dig through leaves and chew on any sticks in the yard. Digging is okay in the back of the yard! After growing up an apartment dog, we took it upon ourselves to buy a house with a big enough yard for him to zoomie as fast as possible every day 🐶 There are squirrels, beautiful mature trees in the yard and nearby, and it’s generally very quiet and relaxing. We have a small kiddie pool for your pups to play in during the summer, along with a splash pad. Please use at your dogs leisure!🌊☀️ And Cassian’s best toys are set aside for everyone to use ☺️ ❄️‼️ We have a small propane heater that will be set up inside of our shed, along with two chairs. Mel's 15 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Laingsburg

Lovely 150 year old decommissioned farm that has been rewilding for 40 years. It has been held as a private wildlife refuge and has been farm and garden chemical free for many years. Trails wind through meadows, woods, and across frozen marsh in the wintertime. Encounter deer, turkey, crane, friendly crows, songbirds, raptors, a wide variety of wildflowers and trees. Also the occasional bunny, fox, coyote, raccoon squirrels and chipmunks pass through. In sheltering spots like my wood chip pile, I have seen snakes and salamanders. In season there are berries and fruit from wild apple and pear trees scattered along the trails. Note that this is a natural area resulting from the rewilding process and not a groomed and open park-like setting. But the trails are wide and mowed regularly for ease of walking. In the woods be prepared to navigate the occasional sticks and branches that may be on the path as typical of a natural woodlot. Wear sturdy walking shoes.
