Top of the Mountain Dog Retreat

Our quiet, fully fenced (6’ privacy fence) almost 1 acre yard offers a variety of dog & human friendly spaces. There’s a secure entrance to the yard from a large circle driveway. There is a deck with table, seating, and umbrellas, a small pond, a screened in gazebo with a fan and seating, a hammock area, a shaded doggy hangout, and a fire pit with seating. We have a variety of surfaces: concrete sidewalk, mulch landscaping beds, dirt holes for digging, wood deck with rugs, gravel beds, and plenty of grass! The yard is lined with large trees for shade- it is in almost full shade after 5pm in the summer months. There’s plenty of dog toys and various water bowl zones. We also provide fresh spring water & treats! Feel free to pick blueberries on our four large bushes in August/September.

With features like an agility course designed to test your dog’s skills and a water hose for cooling off on hot days, the Sports Zone is an ideal destination for active dogs. It’s especially great for dogs who prefer more space than crowded parks offer or those in need of a special adventure! I believe this space has so much to offer dog owners and their pets. MuckMeister Farm's SniffSpot is a converted horse pasture. No horses occupy this spot, and there is a small field separating the fence lines. Our fencing is black PVC "no climb" with four white coated wires for extra security and visibility.
