Please review this before coming for your visit. I may not always be able to message back right away** We have a fully fenced home located in Henderson off valle verde and warm springs. All of the grass in the front and backyard are turf but we have misters setup to make the turf cooler for human feet and dog paws. All water sources will have a hose underneath please feel free to screw in the hose or misters and use as you please. We also have a large pool and a gazebo and fire pit available for use. All dogs & humans welcomed in the pool! Pool is not heated and usually is 76-85 degrees in the summer. Front and backyard have water sources for dog bowls and a hose to hose off the dogs if needed! Please note only the backyard above the pool is lit at night to whatever color desired. Just let us know in advance (:

Private Backyard Oasis with Pool 🐾🌴 Come enjoy a private, fully fenced backyard where your pup can explore, sniff, play, and relax! The yard features a spacious covered patio with plenty of shade, a pool, and open patio space for dogs to roam. There’s also comfortable seating for owners while your dog enjoys some off-leash time. The furniture can be moved however you would like and the pool fence can be fully rolled up so pups have more room to run. I have tons of toys and balls you are more than welcome to use as well, and there are two raised dog beds. The yard is surrounded by block walls for privacy and is a great option for reactive dogs or pups who just prefer having a space to space to themselves. We don’t mind if owners use the pool too! I have a great large half acre yard for doggies to run around in. My yard is perfect for zoomies and has lots of stimulation for both pups and humans. I don’t have a pool so you can throw the ball as hard as you like without concern. I have several areas that are free to use for digging doggies (any of the non-grass areas). Please no digging in the grass! Full water bowls and hoses (3+) are always accessible for your use. The walls are concrete cinder blocks all the way around with one exception (the entrance to the backyard which is 2 separate fences - one bar and one chain link - both over 6 feet tall). The walls are all over 6 feet, except for one side wall near the front yard which is about 5 feet tall (just past the storage sheds), and most dogs don’t go check out that area because the rest of the yard is so entertaining. Thus, unless you have a Great Dane or Mastiff who can hop on top of 6 foot cinder block walls, there should be no way to get out. Plenty of free street parking. If you park in the driveway, please leave the garage accessible so that I can exit if needed. There is enough space to park in the driveway as long as you angle in so that you aren’t on the white part of the driveway. Please clean up poo if you can (if you bring your own bags, there is a large garbage can next to the house where you can throw poo bags). If you don’t have bags, I can provide some, OR I have a pooper scooper in the orchard which you are free to use (preferred method). Just dump the poo in the poo place next to the pooper scoopers within the orchard (it will fertilize the plants). If you leave the poo for me to clean up, no biggie, just let me know so I can clean it up after you go. There is plenty of furniture, shade, hammocks, and entertainment for the humans. Furniture can be moved wherever you like and left there (I can move it back after you leave). There is a deck in the back desert which provides shade if the big trees aren’t shady enough (the rock wall on the back of the deck is still a work in progress). There are trapeze, slack lines, and climbing ropes for your entertainment. There is a natural and propane fire pit which are both available to use as long as you let me know in advance so I can prep them. There are many fruit trees that bloom seasonally. The figs, pomegranates, and jujubes are currently growing. Help yourself to anything growing. Nothing is toxic to the pups (as far as I know), though the figs act as a bit of a natural diuretic (for both humans and pups). If you come early, feel free to use the open area front yard (which is another large grass space) but please try to avoid damaging the pepper and tomato plants as they are delicate. If you need anything while you are here (more water for pups or beverages for humans) just shoot me a message and I will provide as quickly as possible. My dog and cats will not disturb you, as I will keep them inside. You may encounter neighborhood feral cats who frequent my yard, or my desert tortoises. Both are able to escape any overly interested pups. The feral cats will generally run but, if cornered, they may swipe at any aggressor (they are usually pretty docile, though). The tortoises only come out of their hole when it’s very hot, and will politely ignore you and your doggie if they are out and grazing. If your dog somehow flips a tortoise on their back, please flip them back on their feet, as that is really the only danger of hurting them. If your dog likes to go underground, beware that there is a tortoise burrow under the back garage where my tortoises live (my mini weenie dog can barely fit in the hole, to give you an idea of the size). Saltwater pool limitations: Please note that this is a saltwater pool which is great for humans and pets and doesn't have that heavy chlorine smell. Saltwater pools are generally safer and gentler on dog fur and skin than traditional heavily-chlorinated pools, as they lack harsh chloramines that cause brittle hair and irritation. However, the salt and generated chlorine can strip a dog's natural protective oils and more dirt off meaning if there is a heavily booked day the pool although clean, can be cloudy as I typically have multiple reservations a day for sniffspot! I do my very best to keep it in the cleanest state possible before each booking although if I am gone during the day I cannot do my any additional touch ups in-between bookings. Although the pool is always clean from a sanitation standpoint and general upkeep level, professional weekly pool cleanings occur mid-week either Tuesday or Wednesday if you want to keep that in mind for your bookings to have the "freshest" pool possible. Please note that Sniffspot does not have insurance for humans swimming. So if you would like to swim with your pups in the pool. By booking this listing you acknowledge that there is no lifeguard on duty and that you assume all possible risk and liability. Please add the Swim with your Pup extra to your reservation for each 2 "humans" if you plan to swim with your pup for the appropriate pricing. Any reservations with three or more dogs do not need to add the extra 🙂 Please let me know if you have any questions.
