I am a college student majoring in advanced health care, and I’m currently opening up my parents large, fully fenced, private yard for pups to come play! •I have professional and personal references, including the Blue Ridge Animal Clinic in Lexington, VA & The Lexington SPCA! •I have pups who LOVE meeting new friends, however if that’s something your dog isn’t cool with, my dogs can be separated and out of sight!! •We have a doggie swimming pool and a sprinkler in the yard for the pups who love water! •Your dog is welcome to dig, I have no issues filling in the holes! ❣️ •Inside the house is very cool & Your pup will also be welcome inside the house! 🏠 •We have doggie treats and food available! •Lots of doggie toys too!! 🧸

This spot has seating and a shaded area, the water is always cool. Humans can also swim, no people or other animals will be visible. It is very unlikely that my cats will come near you. If the cats to come up to you, you are welcome to pet them. They also love dogs. My dogs won’t be visible, if your dog is reactive towards cats we can put them up. My dogs love this spot and it’s very fun to swim in, there is a spot that your dog is able to jump from. my dogs love to jump from the spot. The spot is to the right of the shed and you’ll see a trail, follow the trail and you’ll see two ways to go. The right is the spot and the other way is a trail. You’re welcome to go down either.

Beyond our collection, the field itself offers natural "treasures" like feathers, leaves, sticks, and bark for your dog to discover, and you are of course welcome to bring your favorites from home. Comfort & Relaxation Zones: Unwind on our handmade bench beneath a canopy in the Haven Headquarters or arrange the three movable chairs to find your perfect relaxation spot. For the ultimate comfort, there is a hammock in the shade. Essential Conveniences: We ensure a comfortable and clean experience with a trash can, poop bags, and pooper scoopers provided. For your convenience, you'll also find hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and bug spray. For canine hydration, two four-gallon gravity water dispensers filled with fresh, cold well water will be set out on either side of the field before your arrival. And just in case the unexpected happens, there is a pet first aid kit in the Headquarters. Secure & Picturesque Landscape: Our 4-foot tall welded wire fencing and gate provide a secure environment, even for small dogs. While digging is welcome, we kindly request that pups avoid digging near the fence line to maintain its integrity for all visitors. The Haven boasts a natural landscape with some uneven ground (please exercise caution) and grass maintained at 2-3 inches. There are no nighttime lights, so please plan accordingly. The property is surrounded by forest on three sides, while the remaining side offers scenic views of an adjacent field that should be enjoyed only as part of the view. Embracing Nature & Neighbors: You’ll often see local wildlife such as deer, squirrels, rabbits, turkeys, turtles, and various birds. Our own dogs will be indoors during your visit, but our neighbors are accustomed to our vocal pups and some have their own who may "chat back" if your dogs are talkative!
