Quiet spot to bring your dogs to romp and roll. Plenty of open field space for running around and woods to explore. Small spring fed creek running through the woods. Please keep dogs leashed when in close proximity to the houses.
A 26 acre small farm, mostly forested/undeveloped with over a mile of flagged, cleared trails for you and your pooch to get some exercise and lots of interesting sniffs! Stoney Run, a small stream, traverses the property, and is accessible from several trail locations. As a circuit you will walk over a couple of miles just on the trail. The rest of the 26 acres is also free to roam, but typically tree covered. The farm animals can be fenced in an acre area, as requested. Our dogs can easily be put inside and our Pyrenees detained, if your pooch isn’t interested or ready for that sort of interaction. Typically our big guy, Titan, is the best part of our visiting dog’s experience. But that will be left entirely up to you. You can hit the trails and chase some squirrels , or play with Titan, or mix it up with a variety of the two as most of our guests tend to do. Our beautiful, forested Shenandoah Valley parcel will be yours to sniff about freely.
Historic property which provides off street parking, several sniff areas, a fenced/shaded enclosure with a kiddie pool for the warmer weather in a safe, well lit area.
Very private a half mile from the road. Our friends and families dogs love to visit and play. A lot of room to run or take owners for walks. Beautiful Mountain View’s. Fresh country air. Creek is on the property and large bowl of fresh water! We have patio seating and dusk to dawn lighting in one area if you need or want to come in the evening.
Very private spot located in a great part of town - Cave Spring. Very far from any main roads. Cul-de-sac location in very small neighborhood.
Your dog will have so much fun running around this gorgeous place! Ask me about Ecollar training! Get confidence knowing your furry friend will stay as close as you want!
We do have horses, a pet pig, a donkey, cats and personal dogs. We can lock our pets other than the cats up, but dogs need to be friendly!

Our property is 25 acres of country beneath Tinker Cliffs. The roadside is approximately 5 acres and is the home place and 20 acres is wooded trails and a Little Catawba Creek. There is a beach area with a swimming hole for dogs and shallower rock ripple areas for romping around. The area does have wild animals but that is to be expected. Please be considerate of property lines and keep dogs on leash if they are not trained to stay near. Dogs that will stay near can be off leash and have freedom to run but please know that your dog will see wild animals such as deer that may entice them to chase. There is easy parking located at a safe distance from the road (approximately 130 yards). Please call ahead for initial tour of trails. Close toe shoes with tread are recommended. Trails can be slippery in a few spots near the natural spring. Trails are mowed and mostly shaded. Hats are also recommended although ticks are not bad. Access will be restricted during hunting season.
I have an acre field and an acre of woods that is great for fetch and playing. It borders Interstate 64 and Miller School Road, and is currently unfenced. Please note that while it is unfenced, there is ample room to be away from the roads, but I would not advise having a dog known to run off leash here. I will keep my dog inside the house while you are here and you are free to park anywhere along the driveway or beside my vehicles.
