When I'm looking after your beloved pooch for daycare or boarding, you can be rest assured that they'll be treated like my own, and their safety is my first and foremost priority. At home, I strive to maintain a comfortable environment, round the clock fresh water and timely meals (supplied by pet parents), sufficient exercise plus nature walks plus pee and poop 💩 breaks, and baths if needed. As a dog behaviorist, I mostly focus on learning about your dog and then educating the human pack members to create healthy and trusting relationships. I sincerely believe that there's no such thing as a bad dog. And, every such "bad dog" deserves another chance to turn things around and learn to respect and follow their calm and confident humans. This is our very own business, and we’ve been learning how to manage it and take care of the yard ourselves (with a little help from our family). Our yard is part of an **old horse farm**—it used to be a grazing and riding yard! So while it’s open and spacious, it’s also **natural, rugged, and real**, not landscaped or picture-perfect. Over time, lots of paws wore down the grass, so we took a few months to fix it up, reseed it, and get it ready for more fun. Lots of room for your dog to run and explore. It is fully fenced and a fence splitting the front and backyard. The backyard has big open spaces as well as lots of trees and bushes near the fence to explore. A tree did fall on part of the fence in back left corner but has lots of over growth it would be hard to get out (my dog has not been able to). There is also an inground pool that is not fully fenced in but can sit and watch your dog swim or join them :) If you would like to use the pool, please give me a day or 2 notice as i will make sure the cover is off and skimmed, etc. The front yard is quite large as well with a gate at the driveway to close to have it fully fenced. I do have chickens but they are fully fenced in. There are tenants upstairs who have a dog but will be aware when you are using the property.

Bring treats for training! There is also a box of toys and a lost n found available. Water is provided. Please use the pooper scooper to pick up after your dogs. There is plenty of room to play ball or practice obedience or run. This is a farm setting but we are in a residential area so please cognizant of noise either by humans or dogs. Medium Yard for Dogs in Coquitlam (No Escape Artists!)

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Figured I'd give this a try since I have such a nice, big, relatively unused backyard! I'm describing it as medium to be conservative, it's about 2500 sqft, give or take. Newly planted fruit trees around the perimeter of the yard along with other fruiting plants including a monstrous blackberry bush that straddles the adjacent property. Warning that there may be spiky vines on the edges of the property! *MAY 2026 UPDATE* The enormous property straddling bramble is GONE, as per the owner's wishes. So while the risk of spikes has gone down, the wall of privacy it created on the left side of the yard is also gone. Less privacy than before, but the neighbors do not own a dog. I hope disturbances are low with this new arrangement! But other than that, it's a wide open backyard, with some late day shade provided by the pine trees. The fence is a classic metal chain link, with only the entrance to the yard (more of a baby gate) and one divot in the back that a crafty (but small) canine could squeeze through (I've only ever seen cats use it tho), which is why I titled it "No Escape Artists!". Otherwise with the picnic table provided, it's easy to grab a seat, play with your pets, or just let them explore while you chill! Whole yard is in eyesight (except under the Pine trees).
