Small shelter for shade or rainy-day lounging. Amenities: Fresh water, waste station with bags & disposal, shaded seating bench for you. Bring your own toys, balls, or agility gear—there’s space for training or just pure play. Scenery & Vibes: Lush green grass (mowed regularly) and classic Whonnock tranquility. Spot wildlife from afar (deer, birds) without any farm animals on-site. Year-round access—muddy spots are minimal. Access & Parking: Easy driveway pull-in off 108th Avenue. Park in our parking lot. Only vaccinated dogs use this space. Park and go straight to the front fenced yard for your time period. We ask that you do not walk your dog around the property or bring them into the shelter - only to and from the yard. There is a no "nose-to-nose" rule at the facility and no dog is too be off leash on the grounds unless contained in the fenced yard. I'm describing it as medium to be conservative, it's about 2500 sqft, give or take. Newly planted fruit trees around the perimeter of the yard along with other fruiting plants including a monstrous blackberry bush that straddles the adjacent property. Warning that there may be spiky vines on the edges of the property! But other than that, it's a wide open backyard, with some late day shade provided by the pine trees. The fence is a classic metal chain link, with only the entrance to the yard (more of a baby gate) and one divot in the back that a crafty (but small) canine could squeeze through (I've only ever seen cats use it tho), which is why I titled it "No Escape Artists!". Otherwise with the picnic table provided, it's easy to grab a seat, play with your pets, or just let them explore while you chill! Whole yard is in eyesight (except under the Pine trees). Hope to see your furry friends!

NOTE: This is an acreage area which formerly held dog events; barn hunt, earth dog, carting, rally, obedience, tracking and nose work. The off leash area was set up for the dogs to have a place to run and play safely away from the other dogs when not working. This is all sandy loam so no standing water even when it rains. There is a water faucet down by the smaller barn (west side). You are welcome to fill your dog's bowls. Just be sure you turn the water off after. I have put some folding chairs just inside the big door of the barn. You are welcome to use them. I have also put a shovel out there so you can fill in any holes your dog digs. It is important you put balls back in the crate, they do not do well under the mower (the mower doesn't like it either. Please fill in any large holes your dog digs, so my mower doesn't bog down in one. if you want a bit more room to run your dogs, you may close the 2 big gates and let your dog run in the "parking area". It is all fully fenced. Be aware, the big gate into the back pasture does have a gap under it. THE BACK PASTURE IS OFF LIMITS THERE IS LIVESTOCK BACK THERE! PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG EVEN IN THE BIG AREA. THANK YOU!!!
