The pond does have fish, turtles, frogs etc, so dogs swim at their risk. The creek is fairly dry with just a shallow stream most of the time unless there has been a recent rain. It's a great place to explore. Like any pastureland/field, snakes can occasionally be found as well. No need to clean up doggie messes that are not within a 50 yard radius of the house.
