When standing in the fenced area facing the back of the house, there is a post that tends to shift on the lefthand side when we've had a drought, leaving one small gap in the fencing that could potentially be big enough for a small dog to sneak through.

-Please close and latch the gate behind you upon arrival and before you leave. -Help yourself to the provided toys, bags, and water. -It’s perfectly fine if your pup wanders onto the patio; (it’s a natural space to want to sniff!) Apart from that, please utilize the picnic table and designated SniffSpot area rather than the patio for seating. Huck & Finn will remain inside during your visit, but they are less likely to bark if no one hangs out on the patio for an extended time. -Feel free to use the water hose. The “mist” feature is particularly wonderful for both you and your fur baby during Texas summers! -No smoking is allowed onsite - (the giant propane tank probably communicates that, but hey... ya never know.) -Watch your step! While I do my very best to stay on top of scooping/bagging, it’s a big yard and Huck and Finn can be sneaky. -If you would like to explore the rest of the property, you are absolutely welcome to. Just leash your dog and stay within the property lines, (not past the gray shed at the back). Neighborhood dogs are kept in their fences 99.9% of the time, but we are in the country and unexpected things can happen. For everyone’s safety, please keep your pup leashed and close to you while exploring. -Take tons of pictures and make lifelong memories. -And last but certainly not least, come back soon!

Property is located on a dead end street, so there is very little traffic. All surrounding houses sit on acreage, so neighbors and their pets are seldom seen. All neighboring animals are kept in a fenced area when outside. Wildlife can be spotted on the property especially close to the wooded area and creek. The pond does have fish, turtles, frogs etc, so dogs swim at their risk. The creek is fairly dry with just a shallow stream most of the time unless there has been a recent rain. It's a great place to explore. Like any pastureland/field, snakes can occasionally be found as well. No need to clean up doggie messes that are not within a 50 yard radius of the house.
