Milo and I had so much fun here! The yard was well kept with lot of space for him to run and I loved that there were toys there for him to play with!

Host replied: We love hearing you and Milo had fun running and playing!

This was a perfect spot for my reactive dog with the solid and tall fence. Huge yard that my dog loved she was exhausted by the end of the hour. I also love how there’s an outdoor table and chairs for the owners to sit and hangout while their dog enjoys the yard. Easy to find, easy access as well. I will definitely be back!!!

Host replied: Thank you so much for sharing Olivia! Love hearing other reactive pups can enjoy our pups favorite space.

    Great spot, exactly as listed!

Host replied: Thank you, glad to hear it!

Huge yard for my dogs to run around, explore, sniff, and play! My 2 dogs had a blast! We played in the pool, tried out the agility equipment, and overall just had fun playing! My very active 4 year old German Shepherd had fun in the pool and running around and my older laid back beagle mix had fun sniffing and rolling around the yard! We will definitely come back! Highly recommend!

Host replied: We love hearing this and knowing there is something for all types of pups to enjoy! Thank you for sharing your experience!

My dog is usually very afraid of other dogs and can be reactive, but we had a fantastic experience here. This space was perfect for her! It was incredibly clean and the rental process was very easy. The best part was the size of the backyard - it was huge and allowed my dog to run around to her heart's content. I was initially worried about the house next door having dogs, but they only barked for a few minutes upon our arrival and then everything was fine. My dog reacts to barking, but even she was much better than I expected. The peaceful and calm environment of the backyard helped her to relax and enjoy herself. Overall, I highly recommend this backyard rental for any dog owners looking for a safe and secure place for their furry friends to play. I will definitely be back again in the future!

Host replied: We have a reactive pup too and installing the 6ft privacy fence was a life saver for us. Out of sight out of mind and focus on play time!

Great space!! Easy access, although it did feel weird driving into someone's driveway and going into their yard. Lol. Yard was clean, spacious, well fenced no gaps. My Mom and Ihave 2 dogs that can't go tp dogparks, so bringing our combined pack of 4 to this space was evrything we wanted ! Will definitley be back ! Thank you !

Host replied: Thank you for your kind words! We love hearing that your pack enjoyed themselves. Sniffspot is an amazing app but yes it does take a bit to get used to.

Been coming countless times! New agility equipment my pup loves. Thanks Kelly!

Host replied: Agility fun is the best!

  • Sarah H., Apr 25, 2023

    So fun!

Host replied: So glad to hear you had fun!

  • Laura P., Apr 18, 2023

There was a TON of barking and chaos next door with multiple dogs getting into it loudly.

  • Brooke B., Apr 17, 2023

My dog loved it! Great, large backyard with secure fencing.

Host replied: Thank you for sharing Brooke! Hearing your dog loved the yard makes us so happy!

Meet your host

Dog mom of two. Hoping other pups can enjoy my dogs’ favorite place!

Large Fenced in Yard with Some Woods to Explore

Update 4/11/23: There are times that I block off my yard for the whole day to ensure that I don't have back-to-back visits and that there is time for the dogs I am dog sitting to run around. I, of course, don't need all this time so feel free to message me if you would like to visit on that particular day and I can unblock a slot for you to book. General Information I have a large fenced in yard. It is chain link and 6ft tall. It is reinforced at the bottom. There is a woodsy area in the yard for dogs to explore as well. Lots of room to run! You may notice your dog spends most of his/her time sniffing around instead of running. This is typical for the first visit: 1. It is a new space for them and they get a lot of information through their nose 2. Lots of dogs have been in my yard so there is so much to smell. This is still great enrichment and will lead to a tired and fulfilled dog. Please bring your own dog toys, water, and water bowl. If your dog poops (even if in the woods), can you please pick it up? I have a dog that likes to eat poop - so gross! You may notice that sometimes my deck is gated off. I do this so that the visiting dogs aren't distracted by the sliding door, standing in front of it thinking they are there to come into the house instead of playing in the yard. You are more than welcome to take one of them down if you want to sit up on the deck. If I forget to put the gate up and you want to block your dog from coming up on the deck, feel free to put it on the stairs to block the entryway. Other things worth mentioning: - My neighbor to the right of me has ducks. They are typically quite but visible. - Depending on the weather and time of the year, parts of the yard may be icy and/or muddy! Brings towels to wipe down your dog afterwards. If you visit early spring, you may see ground bees flying around on the south facing side of the house. By late April, you won't even know they are there. They are very docile (in fact most species don't have stingers) and are great pollinators. - I also dog sit out of my home. Some dogs that I watch are vocal and may bark the whole time you are visiting. If your booking time is during a time that I am home, I can ensure that they are kept quiet and don’t interfere with your visit. If hearing barking coming from my house is something that will impact your visit, feel free to reach out to me beforehand to confirm whether or not I am dog sitting and/or will be home. If there is anything I can do to make this a more enjoyable experience, please message me with feedback :) Hope you have a great time! Country Setting & Nature Refresh - So Close to Town!

Fenced and secluded area for off-leash fun plus woods and trails and stream to explore! Parking by goat/duck pen at top of driveway or directly beside fenced area. (Goat pen has electric fencing around rear and sides and ducks may roam free a bit, so please no off-leash pups!) We are on 22 acres and outside of the fenced area there also is a trail and stream with easy access for dog wading. You are welcome to explore the trails with on-leash dogs - rough map of trails inside storage shed by the fenced area. Wildlife we have seen on walks includes: owls, deer, beaver, and even a family of otters. Please note that the fencing is farm wire with privacy screening in front of it. There are wood boards around the bottom of the entire pen to add safety and stability. Please message me if you have any questions or are uncertain if this area is a good fit for you and your pup. We want everyone safe and happy! The pen is a SIMPLE, wide-open, fenced area where your pup can play off-leash without other dogs or people around. Toys are provided in the storage shed by fenced area. If you bring your own toys or balls, PLEASE TAKE THEM HOME WITH YOU AND DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND IN THE FENCED AREA. WEATHER NOTE: this is not a grassy yard at the best of times. When snow has been melting or it has been rainy, you can expect plenty of mud and puddles. The fenced area can have varying degrees of mud while the trails will be quite muddy throughout the spring. If mud offends you (or your dog! 🤣), we aren’t a good spot for you during spring melting or extended rains. A note about restroom facilities: none available but … spot is very secluded. 😁😁😁 TP and trash bags provided. If you use the emergency, natural facilities please place TP in bag and then place bag in poop bucket. What happens in the woods stays in the woods …. Please place used toys and/or towels in the laundry basket outside the storage shed/container. Do not place back with clean items! Thank you. Last but not least, there is NO SMOKING anywhere on our property. Cameras in use throughout property. Thank you!
