Description

This little oasis has a small pond for splashing and plentiful shade for us hoomans. We have added a UV filter to clear algae and reduce the risk of Giardia and other pathogens.

HOST NOTE

Yikes! Honey bees have found our oasis, and they are undoubtably spreading the word. In the heat for the afternoon they are swarming the edges of the pond to get a drink of cool water. Please keep this in mind as you are making your plans. Early morning, late evening and cool days are your best bet. As this park has a 700 sq. ft. pond that's deepest area is 2 feet deep, please keep a close eye on any dogs or children playing by or in the water. There is no life guard present! ATTENTION: Please bring your own water from November 1st thru March 1st. NO WATER will be provided by hosts due to freezing temperatures.

Dawn to Dusk Top Dog Vistas

Top Dog Vistas has 4 acres of fully fenced trails for you and your dog to enjoy. (All dogs must be on leash for the first 300 feet from the parking lot to the gate.) This hike is not for everyone as it climbs 200 feet in about 1/4 mile. Once you get up the hill there are awesome views and rest stations scattered along the trails that are cut through the trees and brush. The total distance if you wander all of the trails at the top of the hill is about one mile.
