My dog had such an amazing time here. It was like she was in her own world! I can’t wait to take her back!
This is a huge spot with hills that challenged my dogs and they were exhausted after just an hour. The trails are awesome, my dogs were playing hide and seek chasing each other through them and the tall grass, even playing hide and seek with me. The hill up to the top is more than worth it too, the views were incredible!
When people say on reviews that it’s a climb to the entrance it is a CLIMB period. You don’t realize how steep it is until you’re there and the whole thing is on the side of the hill. There really isn’t any “flat” areas until you get to the very top. If you’re not able to physically challenge yourself this may be too much for you. There are a lot of trails interconnecting and tall grass/vegetation for the dogs to run around in. You will lose sight of your dog unless they stay right by you on the trail which makes it difficult to see if they poop somewhere. So if you come across a random pile of poo be kind and pick it up. The dogs loved the new area to sniff and explore.
Great
Great sniff spot! We will definitely be coming back.
It is a climb but the views are absolutely fantastic. Excellent exercise for one's dogs. Lots of places for them to "sniff" and explore. Hosts have done a great job setting up this canine adventure spot.
The best!
Great spot with beautiful views. This one has some big inclines, so my senior dogs struggled a bit, but the two young pups loved running up and down the hills. Greatly appreciated the water for humans left in a cooler.
This spot is amazing! 2 Border Collies and a suspected Husky mix were all thoroughly tuckered out after a couple hours. The initial trek up is definitely steep but the footing is safe, even for a clumsy oaf like myself! On the way back down I stuck to the fence line and had a much easier time. The views are beautiful, and it is just as enjoyable for the human nature lover as it is for the pups!
Our GSPs had a great time tearing through the grass and bushes! The spot was clean, secure and the hosts had the cutest benches with water for people and dogs! I would recommend a protective field vest for short haired dogs that love to run and explore- our girls ended up with a few decent cuts and scratches.
