55Sniffspot offers an incredible space for a dog to run free and release energy. As a first timer, staff were eager to help me and to offer support. My dog loved every minute, was stimulated and proceeded to fall happily asleep following this experience.
45Leo enjoyed running wild on the trails; gorgeous property. The rundown sugar shack was fascinating. Not sure about how to pick up dog poop ā€“Ā write-up discourages bags, but there seemed to be no alternative. A bit more guidance would be helpful, e.g., someone told us when we arrived, "I don't think there are horses on the trail so you should be okay." Should be? What if there were horses, after we came all that way?
35We took both of our pups to Killara Station this year because our first pup loved it so much last year. Itā€™s still a beautiful spot and I live that there is somewhere we can take them to run, but we were extremely disappointed at the amount of horse poop left in the field. Last year it was cleaned up and we were lucky if there was one pile missed. This year the dogs were unable to avoid piles, were running and skidding through it. I donā€™t think it had been cleaned in weeks.
55My boy had such a great time! He enjoyed the freedom of playing ChuckIt in a large, safe environment and was happy to meet some Emus who popped over to say hello at the fence:-)Thank you!
55This a lovely, safe spot for your pup to run. Surrounded by the farm animals and lovely gardens only adds to the experience.
55Killara is the best place to take your dog. Great private dog park. Everyone is super friendly and always have time for you and any questions you have.
55I love that there is a spot to take our pup for a run while we are up North. At home we can go to the local dog park but there are no off leash areas in Haliburton/Minden. I really appreciate having this safe, clean, fenced in spot for her to run!
55This a great, safe spot for my dog to run. Itā€™s clean and the surrounding farm is beautiful.
55Amazing place!!! Highly recommend. Very well fenced and very safe for dogs! So glad we found this! Will forsure be back many times!

Host replied: Thank you for your feed back. ā€œShould beā€ is a disclaimer. By using our trails instead of the dog park which you booked there are hazards, ie deer, critters, and horses. We have many multi use trails on the property horse and dog owners may cross paths but highly unlikely. If you are ever concerned about meeting someone on the trails then best to stay to the original plan, the private dog park. Reactive dogs are more of a concern than the horses there for if your dog is good with meeting large animals you will be fine. Look forward to your next visit.

Host replied: I am so sorry for the mess in the field you are absolutely correct the field is normally kept very clean. This summer unfortunately has not been the best, with the tragic death of my father a couple of weeks before your visit the area/dog park was neglected. Me and my staff were deeply affectedā€¦ sorry for your experience and understanding. Hope you come back and see us again soon.
