The mix of wood and chain-link fencing offers security, with an optional gate chain for added peace of mind. A covered, lighted seating area lets you relax in comfort, and a bright floodlight keeps the yard usable even during those early winter sunsets. With trees, privacy, and plenty of sniffs (rabbits, birds, chipmunks, and the occasional possum), this space is a cozy, secure retreat for dogs of all play styles. Please note, the patio chairs are covered for the winter but feel free to remove the covers during your visit. Amenities are available in a plastic container under the covered porch.

Jasper's Sniff Spot!

Jasper was our family dog of 9 years. He recently passed away due to cancer, but one of his favorite things was playing outside in our fenced yard. We set up this Sniff Spot in his memory so other pups can enjoy the yard as much as he did! Feel free to use the dog toys, and make sure your pup takes a few runs down the sloping area! There are plenty of trees to run around, and if you’re lucky you might see a few of the neighborhood pups walking by…or even a deer or turkey in the back woods!

Welcome to Pooch’s Paradise! I’m Kaitlyn, a professional dog trainer who owns Kaitlyn’s Dog Training. My dogs are basically my children, and the entire yard has been catered to them and my clients’ dogs. This half-acre yard is fully fenced (6 foot privacy, plus a 4-ft chain link surrounding a garden area), and even has a double-gate system to enter and exit, like you would see at a dog park to add extra safety. There are tons of enrichment activities available. I always have a wide variety of toys, a children’s climbing playset, a large ball pit, agility equipment (tunnels, a small A Frame, a teeter totter, a small tire jump, weave poles, and a panel jump). ** I also have kiddie pools and/or a treat scavenger hunt I can add if you give advance notice and select it as an add-on option.** There’s a gazebo that offers shade and is also screened in to prevent most bugs from getting in. There’s a clear tote by the entry gate that contains clean towels and also a Mudbuster tool for cleaning off paws. We do everything we can to provide the absolute best experience for you and your dog, and we think you’ll love it! The only dogs I have ever allowed on the property are vaccinated, healthy, and up-to-date on flea & tick prevention. All the pups who visit my home find that the yard is quite literally their own personal playground, and I know your dogs will love it too!
