Hi! I'm Josie, the main host of this Oakland Oasis. You may also interact with my husband, Jimmy, or one of my two kids. You may also hear my dog, Stevie (8 lb shih tzu mix) or hear or see a kitty around. I try to keep all the cats and the dog inside, but sometimes the kitties are adventuring outside at your allotted time. We've put a lot of love and care into our yard, and are excited to share it with you! It doesn't get nearly enough love from us alone.

Jay's 7 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Hayward

My ranch is a peaceful sanctuary away from the busy downtown or high-traffic regional parks. I have a large 2 acre pasture enclosed by horse fence that has picnic tables under large oak trees. Lots of room to run, dig, and chase sticks. They can also play in the kiddy pool. Other areas can be explored as well, but are not enclosed. A dog wash station is available to wash muddy paws.

Quiet garden sanctuary in the city.

Fully Fenced

1 acre

A lot of vegetation and places to sit down, meditate, read a book, study, or have a picnic. Your pup will love to run and play in our one-acre garden. Picking fruit or vegetable etc. is off the limit. Drinking water for animals is provided in various containers throughout the property. Please do not turn on or use any water equipment on our property - we had some serious problems in the past because of this. Please clean up after your dog’s “business” - smile. That’s a serious and mandatory request. Poop bags are available in the plastic box with the other dog gear, but please bring your own backup supply just in case and do not leave the poop bags behind. BROWN garbage can is in the front of the house by the street for your convenience. Thank you! Woof woof! 🌸 Note: in the rainy season we might not change the water for dogs because it’s senseless. Please arrive always with your own supply of water - rain or shine - and if it’s raining you might like to wear rain boots as well. Have fun!
